I am in jam. I accidentally rm a java file I have worked on for several days.
There is no back up for it. I do however still have the .class file around.
I need
some tool to reverse engineer this code. It does not have to be really good tool.
I just need something to remind me enough of what I did and I fill in the rest. Is there such tool ?

JD-GUI is pretty good and should help you out.

I am looking for answers for the questions Can a java developer create an executable jar as in ".exe" file? Why it to be created and where it is used? Please brothers help me with these questions. Interviewer has asked me this questions because of these questions I got rejected. So please help me to know better about this.
Yeah you can transform a jar -> exe and it is mostly used to make a jar run easily on windows. If you double click a jar file it doesn't mean it has to be executed as well, but using an exe ensures this. Also you secure your jar a bit from decompiling.
But I really don't believe that such a question rejects you from a job offer ^^

I have recently join a team in an organization. they have assign me a project. now I have the project source code build in GWT and Java. I have imported the project in my eclipse. Now I can not figure out how to start looking into it as it contains so many packages and java files.
Firstly you should understand what your code does in terms of business cases, and then high-level analyze it, without spending tons of time trying to figure out why each line of code is written, and when you will get it, life will become easier

I've searched in Internet about burning CD/DVD that can work either in Linux and Windows. but unfortunately, I couldn't find a good solution.
Somebody suggested me, use commands line that related to Operating system. but I think it'd better write a good code that be able to use everywhere.
All my needs are described below:
get list of accessible driver name
get list of writer speed that any driver can do.
burn CD/DVD
So, If you can solve this problem, help me.
Thank you

I'm currently building a model to determine which permissions on Android applications represent the biggest threat to users.
For this purpose i have a total of 2gb of malicious Android applications apks which I need to decompress and get its manifest.xml.
I've investigated and found out that APK-tool lets me reverse engineer those files and get the file I want.
My question is, is there any way to automate this so I dont have to do the process manually for every apk file?
thanks in advance
Usually "script" means a program written using scripting language. There's no additional magic here so if you know what you want to do, you know how to do, process can be automated then "yes". You can write a "script".

Am looking for training (preferably online but in-person would work as well) for Groovy And Grails for not so expensive price. Something which starts from scratch and gives you enough information over a period of time.
I know that the guys from ThirstyHead are giving trainings and conduct consulting for Groovy/Grails. Maybe you can ping them. I am not sure about their prices though.
