Am looking for training (preferably online but in-person would work as well) for Groovy And Grails for not so expensive price. Something which starts from scratch and gives you enough information over a period of time.

I know that the guys from ThirstyHead are giving trainings and conduct consulting for Groovy/Grails. Maybe you can ping them. I am not sure about their prices though.

I am thinking about joining either Lynda or Treehouse to sharpen my coding skills. I was wondering (since they're both paid services) if anyone has any feedback or experience with either of the two. I am also open to new suggestions, too.
thanks
I would try to use as many freely available resources as possible first. Here is a list of free books.

Also Coursera and other MOOC's can be a great resource.
Personally I've used Treehouse and it helped me somewhat but is too expensive in my opinion.

I am in jam. I accidentally rm a java file I have worked on for several days.
There is no back up for it. I do however still have the .class file around.
I need
some tool to reverse engineer this code. It does not have to be really good tool.
I just need something to remind me enough of what I did and I fill in the rest. Is there such tool ?
JD-GUI is pretty good and should help you out.

I've searched in Internet about burning CD/DVD that can work either in Linux and Windows. but unfortunately, I couldn't find a good solution.
Somebody suggested me, use commands line that related to Operating system. but I think it'd better write a good code that be able to use everywhere.
All my needs are described below:
get list of accessible driver name
get list of writer speed that any driver can do.
burn CD/DVD
So, If you can solve this problem, help me.
Thank you

Does anyone know what happened in 2004 regarding the use of programming languages? I'm looking at TIOBE statistic and some languages experienced a decrease of usage like Java and other like C++, Python or Visual Basic suffered a large increase. My question is: Why? Specifically in Python and Java.
Thanks.
