import org spring framework can't be resolved

I'm new to spring framework. I tried to create new project through STS with spring boot intializer and i got error import org spring framework can't be resolved for multiple lines
also I have error notification at the Pom file in STS IDE
when I checked the class path I found the below error

You can use "spring initializr" to create a new project and then import in STS

Please be sure you have included the necessary dependencies in your pom.xml file.

Delete the .m2/repository directory and right click on the project --> Maven --> Update Project, then click OK.

I am trying to write a BDD framework for API Testing.
import static io.restassured.RestAssured.*; NOT working.
Also, when I use the given() keyword it throws error.
I have added the respective maven dependencies and the static import is NOT working. Not understanding what needs to be added or the added dependencies needs to be changed.

I can see that you have set the scope of restassured limited to test in pom.xml
"<scope>test</scope>"
This means you would not be able to use the library anywhere else than tests. Get rid of it to make the scope default to project. i.e.

If given() is throwing compile time then use RestAssured.given().
RestAssured.given().get(url).getStatusCode();

If you have added the dependency and still you are Getting Error
Simply Build your Project .

Apache Beam Maven Dependency Error

I am attempting to use Apache Beam from Java as a data pipeline of sorts. I have written a simple class that sources from Google Pubsub and sinks to Google Bigquery, but I cannot get it to build for the life of me. I am using Maven to build and have added every Beam package I could find, but I still get "class file not found" errors.
Specifically:

Does anyone know what packages I need to add to resolve these? Google has unfortunately been no help.

However, when I extend the WebSecurityConfigurerAdapter with a class named CustomWebSecurityConfigurer, I get this error from STS:
The type org.springframework.security.config.annotation.web.builders.WebSecurity cannot be resolved. It is indirectly referenced from required .class files
The hierarchy of the type CustomWebSecurityConfigurer is inconsistent
The project was not built since its build path is incomplete. Cannot find the class file for org.springframework.security.config.annotation.web.builders.WebSecurity. Fix the build path then try building this project
I am using Spring Tools Suite 3.8.3.RELEASE
I also tried to add Spring Framework Bom to my dependecy management as described in the Spring Security Reference but I still get the error.
This error do not appear when I change the version of spring-security-config to the following:

My CustomWebSecurityConfigurer contains nothing yet:

I get the error during compile time.

The only reason for this is that it is unable to find the WebSecurity.class file but it should be present in the library as you have added the required dependency. That implies the problem is
Either these libraries are not on the build path So make sure these libraries are on the build path.
Or the dependencies (jar files) hasn't been downloaded (this may not be the case).
If none of the above mentioned problems exist, then clean the project and maven update it. If that too doesn't work then simply refresh your STS, exit and start it again
Another solution is Forcefully update snapshots (maven)
Right click on the project, maven -> update project [dont forget to check force update]. check this image .

Thanks Tahir. I tried that already but it didn't work. I think its a maven bug, so what I did is I deleted the ~/.m2/repository folder and then I restarted my STS. It worked.

NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/spark/sql/DataFrame in spark-cassandra-connector

I'm trying to upgrade spark-cassandra-connector from 1.4 to 1.5.
Everything seems fine but when I run test cases then It stuck between the process and log some error message saying:
Exception in thread "dag-scheduler-event-loop"
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/spark/sql/DataFrame

Try to add dependency

Also make sure that your version spark-cassandra-connector is compatible with version of Spark you're using. I had the same error message even with all proper dependencies when was trying to use older spark-cassandra-connector with newer Spark version.
