Auto upload image without page refresh and jquery in jsp - java

I am facing issue while auto uploading an image on jsp. I want to upload it and save it to a folder using ajax since I don't want to refresh the whole page but I would not prefer ajax using jQuery. I have a single form with enc type="multipart/form-data", in which I have many check boxes,textboxes,drop downs and image tags.
If I am saving other details of the form to the database then image is not getting saved to the folder and vice versa. I tried many times with some changes but could not be able to do it.
Any help will be appreciated a lot. Thanks in advance...

Merge/Mux multiple mp4 video files on Android

I have a series of mp4 files saved on the device that need to be merged together to make a single mp4 file.
video_p1.mp4 video_p2.mp4 video_p3.mp4 > video.mp4
The solutions I have researched such as the mp4parser framework use deprecated code.
The best solution I could find is using a MediaMuxer and MediaExtractor.
The code runs but my videos are not merged (only the content in video_p1.mp4 is displayed and it is in landscape orientation, not portrait).
Can anyone help me sort this out?

I'm using this library for muxing videos: ffmpeg-android-java
gradle dependency:

Here's how I use it in my project to mux video and audio in kotlin: VideoAudioMuxer
So basically it works like the ffmpeg in terminal but you're inputing your command to a method as an array of strings along with a listener.

You'll have to search how to merge videos in ffmpeg and convert the commands into array of strings for the argument you need.
You could probably do almost anything, since ffmpeg is a very powerful tool.

Can't read excel file from local directory

I have already uploaded the excel file in my local directory but the problem is that I can't read it from that location.

In Workbook portion I want to read the excel file from local directory. When I run this code in debug mode, the control is going into exception block and forward it in my success page. So can some one please help me with this? I put sysout in that portion but nothing shows. I am using JXl for excel read and write. My confusion is in 3 star portion.
Not an answer, but a partial refactoring.
This is an abomination of an action. There is zero way this should have ever passed any code review:
Actions and business logic should be completely separate.
Methods should be responsible for a single responsibility. This method:
Checks content type (arguably reasonable since that's web-related)
Manually parses the form (inexcusable; use a library)
Processes an Excel file (inexcusable; extract) which in turn:
Validates against business logic
Converts Excel values to BO values
The amount of un-equivalent work the action does defies explanation. This makes it essentially impossible to reason about, debug, fix, or anything. The below is a very rough start of refactoring, but you have another day or two of work to properly isolate levels of functionality and error handling (which is wrong, by the way, because you never check vector, possibly the worst-named variable in history, for errors, it's just thrown away?!?!?!)

Save Mat (openCV) to SharedPreferences Android

I'm writting app, which using KNearest. I wrote code to train model, but every restart app, I must train data again, so I would like to save train data to SharedPreferences once and using it after.
I know that I must convert Mat to byte[] and then to String, but decode is not working, I got error:

When I decode, my trainData look like this:
Mat [ 0*40000*CV_32FC1 ..]
but should: Mat [ 10*40000*CV_32FC1 ..]
Can anybody help me to encode and decode Mat? Thx for help.
As #Miki mention, problem was in types. Now it works, but only with Mat size around 200 x 40 000 in my case, if it's bigger, I have outOfMemory excepion...

Add images to the form in java

I want to add the image and the file with the same form in JSP. how should i do it? Here, i made the form as:

I want this form to take the other input type also, but as i add another input type to the form, it gives error.

Here 'user_upload' is a folder name, in which the uploaded file will be stored.
Before executing this code, you have to create a folder with the name 'user_upload' in your project directory.

How to add a new sheet into an existing xls file

I need to add a new sheet with different methods and headers within the same workbook. I'm able to add the new sheet but how do add the separate methods and headers for the second sheet? Right now both sheets are duplicate copies. Basically How would I add different data to both sheets. Any help would be appreciated and I always accept the answers and also up vote.
