DBeaver periodic workspace save issue - java

I'm working with DBeaver Oracle server.
I'm getting a periodic error about workspace save.
I tried google to find a solution but all I found was meta data related explanations. I am new to DBeaver so if anyone knows this problem and a solution please help.
Following is the error I got.
Could not write metadata for '/.dbeaver-temp'.
/home/engineer/.dbeaver/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.resources
/.projects/.dbeaver-temp/.markers.snap (No such file or directory)

try to delete .metadata folder. May be it will work. P.S. make sure to backup folder

One can also create a folder and file in the said path it will work
.metadata.plugins\org.eclipse.core.resources.projects.dbeaver-temp
if on the windows use dos command to create the folder starting the . period
I hope this helps as well. it worked for me , my eclipse version was neon

There's an error when installing Jdeveloper java.lang.Exception

hope you having a good day.
(Context of the problem ahead)
My problem is when installing JDeveloper suddenly appeared me an error log in the Oracle Universal Installer. Before this step of installation I passed an obstacle of the typically problem of the .zip file not founded (The error mentioned: Error to install Oracle JDeveloper). I changed the name of the .zip and then it seemed that I was on the right way of installing JDeveloper.
It's worth to highlight here, that I'm in Oracle Universal Installer. Because I can't still post images.
The problem here is that the file in fact exists and tells me that doesn't exists, it appears to indicate the path of the .zip file is: Disk2/stage/Components/oracle.ide.help.extras/12.2.1.4.0/DataFiles/filegroup1.jar
I already saw the .zip file without unzipping it and YES there's the .jar mentioned in the log:
I tried to download the same exact .zip file looking for if the file was missing in my .zip file, but I had the surprise that actually there it is.
So, if you have had the same problem I beg you to bring me help as needed as it is like from a colleague of you
I'm pendent of any response of you guys, hope you could help me. Beforehand, have a nice day.

Multiple persistent errors IntelliJ

I run IntelliJ IDEA version 2019.2.3 on a Windows 10. We use the same version at school. It works there, but not on my home laptop. I've set the environment and CMD shows the correct path of Java. The JDK 1.8 is also properly installed. Please , what could the problem be ?
I want to thank everyone for taking the time to give a helping hand !
The answers I received via Support at Jet Brains crashed the app or made it unusable. The FAQ links they provide is a collection of vague workarounds. And, especially for someone that is a total beginner and has no guidance in editing non-destructively, it won't work.
I would also like to post the only solution that worked on the Cyrillic issue with IntelliJ Idea, since I know other people have had it as well and I hope it will be useful for others in the future. This came from my teacher at Link Academy Bucharest, Mr. Bogdan Posa.
The actual thing that needs to be modified is the existent file called idea.properties, found in the BIN folder within the Idea installation folder. This only worked after I had re-installed Idea in a different place than "C:/Users/Cyrillic username/" which Idea was picking by default to install itself. So it will be something like C:/Program Files/JetBrains/IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition 2019.2.3/bin. The idea.properties file can also be opened with Notepad to avoid crashing Idea (happened many times). Within the text editor, find and edit the value of idea.config.path, removing the comment and writing the new location/path of the Idea installation folder. Windows might not allow you to save the edited idea.properties file in that original location and it might ask if you want to save it in the Documents folder instead. Just say yes, save it there and then copy/paste it back to the Bin folder, it will accept it. After this, you will have to open Idea with "right-click open as Administrator". Apparently, as long as there still is a path containing Cyrillics in a username, Idea will not run your project so if you can't avoid it, just play along and Run as Admin when opening Idea. That's how it NOW WORKS for me, after several re-installing and changing properties, environments and every damn thing. I was close to hugging ECLIPSE.... :) Hope this helps, Cyrillic users !
No, not at all. This is a kind of wird exception.
You can change the config location of intelliJ.,
This can be done in:
IntelliJ Menu: Help | Edit Custom Properties…
Then it will create a file under: IDE_HOME\bin\idea.properties
Example of the configs:
idea.config.path=c:/work/idea/config
idea.system.path=c:/work/idea/system
idea.plugins.path=c:/work/idea/plugins

After rename file name site went down - Java

I am working on some server files in jboss. The main file of data jboss/standalone/deployments/data.tar and data.war I just renamed to data1.tar and data1.war and come back site went down. Again I renamed with data.tar still not working. I am unable to to figure out.
How to fix this am not java programmer, could some one help me
You renamed the application - what did you expect exactly? The server took that as (a) uninstallation of the application under the old filename and (b) installation of an application under the new filename.
Don't fiddle around with things like this.

where should i place bluecove-2.1.0 folder

I am trying to write a project that communicates with a Bluetooth device and receives information from it. I googled it and from what I understood I had to get a package named 'bluecove' which will contain all I need. I downloaded the jar file, and (in Eclipse) by right-clicking on 'my project>build path>jar file>bluecove', I added the jar file into my project. When I try to run some lines of code, it gives me an error that says that some content is unavailable:
Native Library intelbth_x64 not available
Native Library bluecove_x64 not available
Then I went back to the bluecove website and i saw there another Windows file for download called 'bluecove-2.1.0-sources.tar.gz'
here is a link:
http://code.google.com/p/bluecove/downloads/list
When I downloaded it, there was a folder inside named 'bluecove-2.1.0' which I think I have to copy into one of the system's folders. What should I be doing here?
Thanks
p.s i will need the answer as soon as possible - in the next 9 hours at most, please help me
and again thanks
As stated here (commented by oxc), you need to download the .jar specified: http://snapshot.bluecove.org/distribution/download/2.1.1-SNAPSHOT/2.1.1-SNAPSHOT.62/

Grails 2.0.4 Error opening zip file or JAR manifest missing Springloaded

I've just downloaded Grails 2.0.4 and extracted it to /opt/grails/grails-2.0.4/ and made sure that the GRAILS_HOME environment variable is correct. But whenever I try run the "grails" command, I get the following error:
Error opening zip file or JAR manifest missing : /opt/grails/grails-2.0.4/lib/com.springsource.springloaded/springloaded-core/jars/springloaded-core-1.0.2.jar
Error occurred during initialization of VM
agent library failed to init: instrument
I don't understand what the problem could be. I've been using Grails-2.0.1 for months successfully in exactly the same way on exactly the same machine. I've tried re-downloading the grails-2.0.4.zip file in the hopes that it was a problem with the archive, but that didn't help. I also copied springloaded-core-1.0.2.jar from the grails-2.0.1/ directory, but that just caused another set of errors.
Any idea what could be going wrong?
I experienced this error too. The problem is spaces in the grails home path.
If it's this:
c:/grails 2.1.0/grails2.1.0
Then it will give an error, as there's a space between "grails" and "2.1.0". I just removed the spaces and it started working.
It looks like your PATH has not been updated correctly. In other words, you are running the 2.0.1 grails script with GRAILS_HOME set to 2.0.4. You can tell because the version of spring loaded reported in the error message - 1.0.2 - is not the one required by Grails 2.0.4 (to help others diagnose this issue).
Have you cleared out the .grails folder in your home directory?
Grails caches a bunch of files in there, it could be that that is tripping you up.
I have had similar problems in the past when my internet connection wasn't a 100% reliable, it seems that the Grails downloader does not do thorough checking of downloaded files, so files in cache can become corrupt.
It's the folder hierarchy problem!
I have faced the same issue : when i set Grails_home make sure the path you are giving is e.g c:/grails2.1.0 and not c:/grails2.1.0/grails2.1.0
it often happens when you unzip the folder 2 folder with same name are created one inside another.
hope this will resolve!!!
I had the same problem. Here is how I solved it:
Previously:
I had grails in: C:\Program Files\grails-2.5.5
and in the system's environmental variables I had
GRAILS_HOME: C:\Program Files\grails-2.5.5 and also
C:\Program Files\grails-2.5.5\bin in PATH.
Then I tried:
To put grails in C:\Grails_2.5.5\grails-2.5.5
and updated GRAILS_HOME to C:\Grails_2.5.5\grails-2.5.5 and the text in PATH to C:\Grails_2.5.5\grails-2.5.5\bin
BUT, I still got the same error.
What fixed it:
Put grails in C: C:\grails_2.5.5
Update Environmental variables to the correct grails path:
-GRAILS_HOME: C:\grails-2.5.5
-In PATH: C:\grails-2.5.5\bin
Restart pc
Wish you luck!
