I transfered my game project from windows machine to mac and when I opened the project it gave me an error which I am not able to resolve.
errors look something like this:
/Users/dinajam/NetBeansProjects/Flip Flop/build.xml:12: The following error occurred while executing this line:
/Users/dinajam/NetBeansProjects/Flip Flop/nbproject/build-impl.xml:1: Content is not allowed in prolog.
Tomorrow is my project submission and i have to present using mac.

Reason and fix for "Error: Could not find or load main class Anne" on Scala Getting started tutorial

I'm just starting out with Scala and have been following its Getting Started instructions. The second part of the instruction involves pulling the hello-world template by running the sbt new scala/hello-world.g8 command.
My problem is that it keeps on giving me this error:
Error: Could not find or load main class Anne
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Anne
I'd like to know the reason for this, as well as any possible fix I might use.
The following is my insight and attempts on fixing this problem.
Insight:
1. I might have a problem with java installation/scala/sbt installation that needs this class Anne since even with other sbt commands like sbt sbtVersion I get the same error
Attempts:
1. Change command to retrieve from full url:
sbt new https://github.com/scala/hello-world.g8
2.(Edit): Previously I thought the repository scala/hello-world.g8 did not exist and tried getting from other repositories with no luck and with the same error as above. However it was pointed out below that the repository actually exists in this url https://github.com/scala/hello-world.g8, thanks Dmytro Mitin.
I was looking into the incorrect account (sbt) instead of (scala)
(Edit): Day 2
3. Uninstall/Reinstall sbt -- still getting the error
4. Checked if java running properly by compiling sample code and running ( successful )
I was actually running the command in Visual Studio Code's bash terminal. I tried running it with cmd and everything's now working fine.

Websphere Error SRVE0206E SRVE0187E SRVE0234I SRVE0266E

I'm currently wasting my time trying to figure out why WAS won't load my EAR and why said EAR have problem.
Context:
One of my colleague updated a version of a jar and then my m2e seem to have not picked up and was giving thousand of error (was working fine before)
I tried to check if it was Nexus (work fine). My encrypted password in the setting.xml (work fine).
I decided to try maven from the command line, everything worked fine there to.
When I tried again in RAD (IBM eclipse) everything was now ok, no more error.
I then proceeded to put the generated EAR in my websphere server via add and remove project and I get multiple error when I try to start the server with that ear. (see below)
I though that because it was compiled via maven cmd prompt, I might have compiled with the wrong jvm or something so I deleted my maven repo (.m2 in the user) and try to get the jar via m2e in RAD only.
It's worked until I started the server with the new EAR and got the same set of error.
Any idea on what to do to get rid of these error and have a healthy server.

IWAB0399E Error use java -D

I have a wsdl file that i imported to my project in Eclipse Kepler. Then i tried to generate a client in Kepler, but i kept getting this error.
I tried many solutions but nothing seemed to work. Now i found a new solution which is to use:
java -Dhttp.proxySet=true -Dhttp.proxyHost={value} -Dhttp.proxyPort={value} org.apache.axis.wsdl.WSDL2Java {wsdlURL}
but where do i use this command and what are the values that i should give it?
IWAB0399E Error in generating Java from WSDL:

Any idea on how i solve this problem?

Build Failed in Liferay 6.2

I am getting Build Failed, while deploying the Portlets,Themes and Layouts in liferay 6.2 on ubuntu OS .
The console messages are:
The Build Failed Message on Console:
BUILD FAILED
/opt/scrum-6.2/plugins/layouttpl/20x80-layouttpl/build.xml:7: The following error occurred while executing this line:
/opt/scrum-6.2/plugins/layouttpl/build-common-layouttpl.xml:5: The following error occurred while executing this line:

/opt/scrum-6.2/plugins/build-common.xml:47: The following error occurred while executing this line:
/opt/scrum-6.2/plugins/build-common-ivy.xml:17: The specified destination is a directory
Can any one help me?
Solution -> Edit build-common-ivy.xml and change line 17 so that it looks like this:
dest="${ivy.home}/ivy-${ivy.version}.jar"
Also, it complains that you need Ant 1.8, so be sure to upgrade to 1.8.
I have resolved the build failed issue
The following file is missing in plugins:
---> build.username.properties file
And inside the .ivy folder, cache folder and ivy-2.3.0.jar files are missed.
I just have added the above things in plugins.

Problem with javacard WebApplication

I'm trying to build a javacard webapplication with netbeans, but I'm getting a build error and don't know how to fix it:
[Error] Unable to parse the class file webapplication2/WebApplication2.class. Exception while looking for class webapplication2.WebApplication2: java.io.IOException: Couldnt find: webapplication2/WebApplication2.class. Packager/create FAILED [1 error(s) and 0 warning(s)]
Whats wrong here?
I just used the standard template for a javacard web application of Netbeans.
thanks
The javacard libraries aren't working on Mac OS X. But are running without problems on Windows XP
