Hello everyone I have a java application (spring-boot) and I deployed it on tomcat9. The app appears on the tomcat manager and the first page of this app to connect appears correctly. But when I try to connect, the 404 error is declantiating.
I checked the Tomcat logs files, but no exceptions are thrown.

When i click the connect button nothing happens. But on eclipse the application worked very well (before the deployed on tomcat)

I'm working on a Spring Boot project. Initially, I started with Spring 3.0.0, but the project specification requires the use of version 2.x instead.
I tried to manually change this in line 8 of pom.xml but am now getting an error. How do I correct this?
Correct the classpath of your application so that it contains
compatible versions of the classes
org.springframework.plugin.core.config.PluginRegistriesBeanDefinitionRegistrar
and org.springframework.beans.factory.support.RootBeanDefinition

As topic describes, I can't update Spring boot from version 2.6.6 to 2.7.0. It will not find 2.7.0 and I get stuck with a broken pom.xml and that breaks the project as well.
I have also tried with 2.7.3 without success. Seems like I just can't find any of the 2.7.x versions of spring.
Any advise?

Is there any issue with the pom.xml?
I had a coworker update to 2.7.0 without any issue and after I deleted my m2 folder and pulled changes, I could rebuild! I will keep in mind to check versions and add them.
As #David mvn -U clean install, I checked it out:
-U,--update-snapshots
Forces a check for updated releases and snapshots on remote repositories
Probably will try this next time since my coworker had already updated before I read the comment. Thanks!
I want to connect my spring cloud config server by adding #EnableConfigServer but getting error that EnableConfigServer cannot be resolved to a type. Already check the application.properties, name, git repository path and i also already try to clean the project still gettin same error.I cant view localhost:8888/limits-service/default.Please help me

For me, the problem was resolved after changing the starter dependency
from
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.cloud</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-cloud-**starter-config**</artifactId>
</dependency>
to
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.cloud</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-cloud-**config-server**</artifactId>
</dependency>
You can try, as in here, to clean your local .m2 maven cache.
(rename it, to force maven to re-create a new m2 folder).
See if the dependencies are imported then.
I have a tomcat 8.5.x with some applications already deployed. One of them uses spring-boot. Now I would like to deploy my own spring boot web app to the same tomcat, but seems not to work. I get this error message:

When I run mvn clean install for my Maven module which is a spring boot application it kinda starts the spring boot web app withing the build process (and fails because of several errors)
This is my pom for that module:
