I am trying to create a sample project with Springboot 2.2 & MockMvc.
Test works when end point returns String. But on change of return type to Object (JSON), it fails with 406.

#Controller
public class TestController {
#RequestMapping(value = "/employees")
#ResponseBody
public Employee getAllEmployees() {
return new Employee();
}
}
// Simple class
class Employee {

Test file
#RunWith(SpringJUnit4ClassRunner.class)
public class TestControllerTest {
#InjectMocks
private TestController controller;
#Test
public void canReachUrl() throws Exception {
MockMvc mvc = MockMvcBuilders.standaloneSetup(controller).build();
mvc
.perform(
MockMvcRequestBuilders
.get("/employees")
.accept(MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON)
)
.andDo(MockMvcResultHandlers.print())
.andExpect(MockMvcResultMatchers.status().isOk());
}
This gives 406. Am I missing something?

I have downloaded a Spring boot demo project with the latest Spring version (2.2.0 M1). However, I am not being able to find the package org.springframework.web.servlet.function in it. Can anyone please shed light on this?

I am not being able to find the org.springframework.web.servlet.function package. But, that is vitally important since I want to access the RouterFunction.
Having two maven projects locally, namely Authentication and Commons,
I need to use Commons as a dependency in the Authentication's pom.xml,
which is correctly deployed in the local repository at ~/.m2/repository after running mvn clean install in the Commons root directory.
However I'm not getting how to stop it trying to download this local dependency from online, when I run maven clean install in the Authentication root directory.
Here the error I get:
[ERROR] Failed to execute goal on project authentication: Could not resolve dependencies for project io.project:authentication:jar:0.0.1-SNAPSHOT: Failure to find io.project.commons:project-commons:jar:0.0.1.RELEASE in https://repo.spring.io/snapshot was cached in the local repository, resolution will not be reattempted until the update interval of spring-snapshots has elapsed or updates are forced

Isn't it possible to config the pom to first look at the local repository, then to go search it online?
Look at your coordinates. In authentication, you depend on io.project.commons:project-commons:
<dependency>
<groupId>io.project.commons</groupId>
<artifactId>project-commons</artifactId>
<version>0.0.1.RELEASE</version>
</dependency>
But the actual coordinates on the commons project are io.project:project-commons:
<groupId>io.project</groupId>
<artifactId>project-commons</artifactId>
I tried to create an empty spring boot 1.5 application with PostgreSQL 9.4 and 9.6 and i got this exception. BUT it works fine when i use Spring Boot 2.0.x ?!

I am following this tutorial about integration test in Spring Boot: http://www.baeldung.com/spring-boot-testing
Well, but when I try to Inject MockMvc I always get:
Error creating bean with name 'mockMvcBuilder' defined in class path
resource
[org/springframework/boot/test/autoconfigure/web/servlet/MockMvcAutoConfiguration.class]:
Bean instantiation via factory method failed; nested exception is
org.springframework.beans.BeanInstantiationException: Failed to
instantiate
[org.springframework.test.web.servlet.setup.DefaultMockMvcBuilder]:
Factory method 'mockMvcBuilder' threw exception; nested exception is
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
org/springframework/web/servlet/DispatcherServlet
My test class is:
#RunWith(SpringRunner.class)
#SpringBootTest(
webEnvironment = SpringBootTest.WebEnvironment.RANDOM_PORT,
classes = MyApplication.class)
#AutoConfigureMockMvc
public class MyControllerIntegrationTest {
#Inject
private MockMvc mockMvc;
//Some code here
Well, I can see that it can't find the DispatcherServlet, but I'm not sure why is this happening... The test seams to be correct.
Does anyone knows what I am missing?

MockMvc is, as its name suggests, a mocked-up stack of Spring's Web MVC infrastructure (with mocked requests, responses, and so on). Since you're using Jersey, you won't be able to use MockMvc for testing. With Boot, you may want to use #SpringBootTest to launch the container on a random port and use TestRestTemplate to make (real, local) HTTP requests for testing.
I'm trying to create an app in Vaadin with LDAP authentication. I found a code somewhere but I can't import the ActiveDirectoryLdapAuthenticationProvider class.

Here is SecurityConfig class:

}
#Override

}
}
And there is SecurityConfigActiveDirectory class:
#Configuration
public class SecurityConfigActiveDirectory
{
#Value("${ldap.url}")
String ldapUrl;
#Value("${ldap.domain}")
String ldapDomain;
#Bean
public AuthenticationManager authenticationManager()
{
ActiveDirectoryLdapAuthenticationProvider adProvider = new ActiveDirectoryLdapAuthenticationProvider(ldapDomain, ldapUrl);
adProvider.setConvertSubErrorCodesToExceptions(true);
adProvider.setUseAuthenticationRequestCredentials(true);
adProvider.setAuthoritiesMapper(getAuthorityMapper());
return new ProviderManager(Arrays.asList(adProvider));
}
private static SimpleAuthorityMapper getAuthorityMapper()
{
SimpleAuthorityMapper mapper = new SimpleAuthorityMapper();
mapper.setConvertToUpperCase(true);
return mapper;
}
}
The problem is that the
ActiveDirectoryLdapAuthenticationProvider cannot be resolved to a type
And it's impossible to import it. What can I do in that case?
Greetings, RafaĆ
Maybe there is a working example of LDAP login in Vaadin 8?
