I'm following a tutorial on youtube but I can get a lombok to work specifically AllArgsConstructor. This is a maven project.
I have this pojo;
package com.example.producer;
import lombok.AllArgsConstructor;
import lombok.Data;
import lombok.NoArgsConstructor;
#Data
#AllArgsConstructor
#NoArgsConstructor
public class Reservation {
private String id;
private String name;
}
And i have this tests:
package com.example.producer;
import org.junit.Test;
import org.junit.Assert;
public class ReservationPojoTest {
#Test
public void create() throws Exception {
Reservation re = new Reservation("1", "Jane");
Assert.assertEquals(re.getName(), "Jane");
}
}

You'll need a plugin to make Visual Studio Code understand Lombok annotations. Everything is explained here: https://projectlombok.org/setup/vscode
Add the vscode-lombok plugin to your Visual Studio Code IDE to add lombok support.
press Ctrl + Shift + X to open the extension manager.
Type lombok to find the plugin, and click install.
Reload VS Code when asked.

Spring uses the versioning syntax RC to indicate a Release Candidate. Release candidates requires a milestone repository segment in your pom.xml:
<repositories>
<repository>
<id>repository.spring.milestone</id>
<name>Spring Milestone Repository</name>
<url>http://repo.spring.io/milestone</url>
</repository>
</repositories>
More info here and here. As Spring Greenwich Release is available since January 23, 2019, you might want to check if your dependencies are available in the release version.
Add a global property for spring-cloud version.
<properties>
<java.version>11</java.version>
<spring-cloud.version>Greenwich.RELEASE</spring-cloud.version>
</properties>
inject it in dependency management
<dependencyManagement>
<dependencies>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.cloud</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-cloud-dependencies</artifactId>
<version>${spring-cloud.version}</version>
<type>pom</type>
<scope>import</scope>
</dependency>
</dependencies>
</dependencyManagement>
Then add the repositories
<repositories>
<repository>
<id>spring-milestones</id>
<name>Spring Milestones</name>
<url>https://repo.spring.io/milestone</url>
</repository>
</repositories>

No import to #Autowired, why?
#Autowired is part of spring-beans-XXX.jar. spring-boot-starter will have spring-beans as trasnsitive dependancy. So spring-beans*.jar must be in your classpath. This seems to be some issue of IDE.
Try restarting your IDE. If you are using Intellij, choose following option- File->Invalidate Cache/Restart.
Try to build the project first, so that all jars are downloaded and available in classpath.
Try to manually add spring-beans*.jar in classpath, if none of above works.
I am not aware about Spring Boot but have you tried below one for import org.springframework.beans.factory.annotation.Autowired;
<!-- https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.springframework/spring-beans -->
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-beans</artifactId>
<version>your release version</version>
</dependency>
Our company is planning on migrating to authenticating with SAML, so I am doing the tutorial using a sample demo to understand how to implement saml using the spring framework and Okta. I am following the tutorial (here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBtyGfrz-jA), but when I get to the part implementing the SecurityConfiguration (~5:09 of the video), it throws an error with the code:
import static org.springframework.security.extensions.saml2.config.SAMLConfigurer.saml;
When I try building the project it throws:
com/example/SecurityConfiguration.java:[3,67] package org.springframework.security.extensions.saml2.config does not exist
com/example/SecurityConfiguration.java:[3,1] static import only from classes and interfaces
com/example/SecurityConfiguration.java:[39,20] cannot find symbol
I think the problem is with maven importing the wrong jar file, but I've tried many different versions of org.springframework.security.extensions, but none allows the SecurityConfiguration.java to find the saml() method.

Spring screwed up their project file when moving spring-security-saml-dsl (note: not spring-security-saml2-core) from 1.0.2.RELEASE to 1.0.3.RELEASE.
The issue should be fixed after changing the version of spring-security-saml-dsl to 1.0.2.RELEASE.
For different reasons I should use DISCO API version 1.4 instead of the last version 2.1. Basically, the key reason is that 2.1 does not support Spanish according to this documentation.
When I use disco-1.4.jar in my project, I get the following conflict between versions of Lucene:
java.lang.VerifyError: class org.apache.lucene.analysis.ReusableAnalyzerBase overrides final method tokenStream.(Ljava/lang/String;Ljava/io/Reader;)Lorg/apache/lucene/analysis/TokenStream;

Any idea how to solve this conflict while maintaining Disco 1.4?
I solved this issue by substituting the version of Lucene in pom.xml:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.lucene</groupId>
<artifactId>lucene-queryparser</artifactId>
<version>5.1.0</version>
</dependency>
