I am having trouble deploying my application to tomcat. It was working before, but i formated my computer and it stopped working.

I know this is not the best formulated question but i dont know what else to do...

I followed instructions in Comment by Piotr P. Karwasz. That worked out fine! The problem with one of the solutions i tried was the version number.

I do not understand why this error happens and I have tried to remove scope variable as well. My project structure displays Maven:junit:4.12 so I cannot understand why it can't find the required dependency

When you're new to Spring Boot then let Spring Initializr create your pom.xml. It will create a working pom.xml.

Cannot create Launcher without at least one TestEngine, PreconditionViolationException

I want to run all test at the start of my app. But i get:

I am using arquillian to do integration tests against a Restful java API, these tests are executed using #RunAsClient annotation, the application is deployed on Wildfly 9.
The application tests were working but suddenly brake.
I am getting this error:

They've recently updated glassfish code and removed the ClientRequest.getLengthLong() and updated HttpUrlConnection code https://github.com/jersey/jersey/commit/4275389f727813aba883a7898f74948b8528018c.
If you update your

to most recent version (or do <version>[2.22,3.0)</version>) that should fix all your issues.

Problems with deploying war on openshift

I'm trying to deploy my war file of my Java Spring Application to openshift.
I'm trying to do this with git.
My pom file is build succesfully but my ROOT.war is not deployed...
In Filezilla I can see that my war is in the webapps folder but when I'm trying to reach my website I got a 404 error.
UPDATE:
I've added my project structure to my question. In filezilla I saw that there is a ROOT.war file deployed but this is empty....

Unexpected exception parsing XML document from ServletContext resource [/WEB-INF/applicationContext.xml];

In my pom.xml I am getting the following error. The reason why I have <version>2.0.3</version> is to use Spring 2 NTLM authentication.

As per PSR's suggestion, the error occurs when the following dependency is added

<groupId>org.springframework.security</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-security-core</artifactId>

</dependency>

The problem will come because of one of the dependency.Try to remove all dependencies first what you shown.Then try to add one by one then we can find out the problem where it is

Check for multiple version for spring jars in your class path. we have spring-dao and spring-tx in class path. removing spring-dao fixed issue.
