Could not determine app name, please configure it explicitly Intelliji Heroky deployment

I flowed [this][1] tutorial to deploy my java web app from intellij IDE to heroku, but some error occurs
Failed to execute goal com.heroku.sdk:heroku-maven-plugin:3.0.3:deploy-war (default-cli) on project covid-tracker: Could not determine app name, please configure it explicitly!

I had the same problem. To solve it add to your pom.xml file. Something like this:

The plugins for copying dependencies and compiling the code also added inside build tag

will mvn install depend on the classpath that i export or is a configration issue ?
Im running this on Ubuntu 16.04.

Solution :
The scope - runtime added for spring-context dependency was the issue.
Once removed maven install compiles successfully.

java.lang.NoSuchMethodError suggests that the wrong version of the library has been discovered at runtime. The correct approach for Spring libs would be to speficy the "import" pom dependency in the dependencyManagment section:

Maven error while building project in eclipse

I tried to build my Maven project in eclipse and I get below error. May I know cause for this . Also, how do I fix this problem. Thanks in advance. I have referred some help links but could not find a any solution. It will be great if any one can help me out

DefaultSpringSecurityContextSource not found while deploying an app

I have a problem while deploying a web app. I use maven + spring security and the server keeps reporting the following problem :
error: com.sun.tools.javac.code.Symbol$CompletionFailure: class file for org.springframework.security.ldap.DefaultSpringSecurityContextSource not found

I tried adding the following dependency:
https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.springframework.ldap/spring-ldap-core/2.3.1.RELEASE
but the issue persisted.
I tried both Tomcat and Glassfish to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance
