I'm using ICEFaces. I have datatable with multiple columns. One I load the page I get the following exception; however, the page still loads and contiues correctly but after I start pagination the table it's slow, I'm not sure what this exception is about as the page still work and I'm not sure if it's related to the slowness of pagination.
Any ideas?
THanks,
Tam

It's going to be difficult to diagnose anything without seeing any code, but it looks like this has been covered before in other places. Have you at least tried Google'ing that error? Here is a definition of the error you're seeing from this message board thread:
This means you have something before the root element which is not permitted to appear there according to the XML spec. Make sure that NOTHING comes before the XML declaration except the
optional byte-order mark, and that NOTHING comes between the XML declaration and the outermost element except comments, processing instructions, and whitespace.
Hope that helps.
Could be a simple syntax problem if you use Facelets. The XML parser (Xerces) tells you that there are parts in the page that are not allowed. This can be the cause for the behavior.
But, as mentioned above, we need a detailled look at the page markup.
Might be a JSP problem. You need to provide more information. You're also better off asking the ICEFaces forum.

Weblogic was using its own older version of jasper report jar.
I tried to configure that my war file should use its own jars by adding following code in weblogic.xml,
<container-descriptor>
<prefer-web-inf-classes>true</prefer-web-inf-classes>
</container-descriptor>
but it didn't work
I solved this issue by adding a new version of jasperreport jar on weblogic server and gave the classpath for the same.
We are using java to connect to a webservice. Everything was working fine just a few days ago but suddenly now we are getting com.sun.xml.ws.client.ClientTransportException: HTTP transport error: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset errors.
Nothing was changed on our code to connect to webservice. I have checked with the other party and nothing has been changed on their end recently.
I am unable to understand, how all of a sudden we are getting the following errors.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

Mea culpa
Yes, I should have refrained and read. The problem is with sorting the dialog box. I accept my down merit punishment. I hope I can still post naive though they be. Please note this is not sarcastic, even with that statement just under pressure.
I am getting the same, and it is apparently an "incarnation" of this bug, according to this forum post. It seems to be fixed, but only in a JDK8 version. OTOH, it seems there is an "Apple patch" that fixed this in (presumably) JDK 7 (but only for Apple users).
I am trying to consume a webservice using. My client runs as a JSP pages hosted on Tomcat. While trying to consume the service I get this error:

I know that this problem is on the server side. I am using a RPC style SOAP request. I am new to JAVA and web services so I need a way to get to the faulty variable. How can I resolve this?

P.S. I tried to make other web service that just returns string and it works but in project above I can't find out what is causing this error
When interpreting a stack trace, a good starting point is to skip calls to external libraries and find the code that you wrote.
com.majkicservis.bioskop.BioskopSoapBindingStub.getFilmove(BioskopSoapBindingStub.java:115)
From there, something your code is calling threw a java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException, which means that it's trying to access a bean property that doesn't exist or whose bean doesn't implement Serializable. Are you expecting an object to be read or written to with the property "hostname"?
