Microsoft provides very interesting approach on theirs ORM Entity Framework which called "Code first".When database creates from your code and business logic automatically. Is there some tools to implement "Code first" approach on Android?

I'm sure you can use UML and Code Generators to achieve similar. Rarely useful though.

I am going to develop a claim management system and would like to have a simple work flow for it in java
When i searched i come across https://formsflow.ai/ (or) https://www.jbpm.org/ and not sure whether there is any other good workflow to handle simple work flows and efficient and not very complex
Please kindly advise.

JavaFX has been released a long time ago. But I didn't hear about any popular or big production ready projects built with this technology.
Opening the answer to everyone...
Though this question is primarily opinion-based, but I would still like to throw some examples. These may not be very popular, but are good enough to be used by a few people:
SoapUI
LoadUI
VRL Studio

I am looking for java-based WSD using WordNet that return the appropriate sense of a word based on a context. Can you provide me with some?
I think BabelNet might be useful to you. It does word sense disambiguation based on data from WordNet and Wikipedia.
This paper (pdf) explains how it works and shows an example of WSD using their API.

I need to implement scanning software in a java program I am working on, what libraries will I need to do this? I have heard of JTwain and JSANE. Do I need to pay for both of these if I wish to make my software for commercial use?
JSANE, JTWAIN and Morena are the options. I selected Morena due to its cross platform compatibility and its ability to use both SANE and TWAIN interfaces.

what is the best FREE mockup tool for web applications?
I know balsamiq, which is really nice, but lacks the feature of linking different pages together.
I would like to do some kind of prototyping, so not just mocking a view, but also providing interaction between the mockups.
Which tool could I start with?
I think exhibit from mit csail is a good choice.
http://simile-widgets.org/exhibit/
You can load your data from javascript and simulate interaction with jquery and/or passing actions through URL parameters.
