I have a cassandra cluster on 4 nodes (each running ubuntu 10.04 and cassandra 0.7.4).
All nodes are connected using a SWITCH, and each is assigned a STATIC IP ADDRESS (no DNS is involved).
The node seems to be functioning properly (status is 'Normal', all nodes are up etc).
The problem is this: nodetool works, yet it only works when the nodetool command is run on the same node. When I try to run nodetool from STATIC_IP = 192.168.0.253 on STATIC_IP = 192.168.0.4 I get the following error:

Never happened before, but today I upgrade Windows preview version, and an exception occured (Connection Refused: connect).
Redis runs in a Docker container and Docker runs in WSL2 (Ubuntu 18.04), and also there are a Mongodb database and a Mysql database running in docker.

I am using Netbeans 8.2 with the Java EE Base 1.31.1 and EJB and EAR 1.27.1 plugins installed. I installed Tomcat 9.0.4 and added it as a server to Netbeans. This is how we currently do it.
Oops. It turns out that I had commented out the 127.0.0.1 localhost entry in my /etc/hosts file. When I re-enabled localhost, it worked fine! And as an aside, I thought I had to comment out the default localhost line because I had another line in there for a locally hosted site I was testing, but according to this answer, there's no need to do that!

By default MongoDB only binds to the loopback interface which makes it only accessible from localhost. To change that you need to edit this line in mongod.conf file;
# /etc/mongod.conf
# Listen to local interface only. Comment out to listen on all interfaces.
bind_ip = 127.0.0.1
you can change it to bind_ip = 127.0.0.1,192.168.1.102 to allow LAN and local connections or you can remove or comment out that line to allow all connections.

There could be several reasons of it , which in short can be concluded as Your Application is unable to Communicate mongoDB service
1.Check your MongoDB using the same IP configured in your application.yml file,

If Status not visible as active and running, you need to start/restart the service

I was able to determine that it was an issue with the bind parameter in the /etc/mongod.conf. Instead of commenting it out I set it to 0.0.0.0 to all for remote access.

Make sure that each master and worker has a firewall exception to allow connections for all other workers and masters.
Here's a simplified example from one of our master machines (master0):

What is wrong with this Java code for a RMI JMX connection? I am clearly not trying to connect to localhost but the error implies that I am. On the remote server, I enabled JMX options on port 1099 (no authentication).

This is the famous java.rmi.server.hostname problem. Usually caused by /etc/hosts misconfiguration in some Linux distributions. 127.0.0.1 should map to localhost, and your real hostname should map to your real IP address. See item A.1 in the RMI FAQ for another solution.
EDIT: Now that you've edited the IP addresses in your question, it is more probable that the JMX service you are looking up simply isn't running at that IP address.

I suspect the code you are executing is different from the code you have in question. Make sure what ever the code you have in question is being executed.
This is more of configurtion issue where you have to explicitly mention how are you going to access the stubs. Try setting jmxremote options through JVM args. Following options might resolve your issue. I tried same for my own project.
