why some imports cannot be resolved?

I'm new to java , i tried to use word net for senitment analysis .
when i used class of wordnet , i got the following failure in importing

import org.osgi.framework.ServiceRegistration;
import org.osgi.service.component.ComponentContext;
all the above imports cannot be resolved like org.apache.felix , org.apache.lucene ,org.apache.stanbol,org.osgi

This is because your compiler is not able to find the necessary packages and or libraries that are needed to resolve these imports. These packages must be included in your class path. For example all of the errors regarding
org.apache.felix.scr.annotations.x
can be resolved after downloading the latest .jar from https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.apache.felix/org.apache.felix.scr.annotations/1.11.0
Follow these steps to include jar files in your class path.

Drag the required jar file from your download directory to the src
directory of your project in eclipse
Right click on the jar file, Select Build Path and then select Add To Build Path option.
A dialogue box will appear asking you to link all files in the jar file, just stick with the defaults and hit OK.
You are done now, all your errors regarding imports will be resolved.

These packages need to be within the compiler's class path.
Another way to say it : the compiler needs to be able to know where to find these files. This imposes several constraints:
these files need to actually exist in your hard drive (whether added manually, or automatically by a dependency manager)
they should be organized in folders that match the parts of the package name
the folder where they are must be within the class path, which can be specified with the 'classpath' compiler option, or in your IDE's options

iTextPDF library JAVA - The import com.itextpdf cannot be resolved

I'm creating a simple program in JAVA where there is a button that creates a PDF when clicked. I'm using iText JAVA library for generating the PDF.
I've included iText .jar file in "Java build path" but when I try to import classes of the library i get this error: The import com.itextpdf.cannot be resolved.
For example:
import com.itextpdf.text.BaseColor; // The import com.itextpdf.text.BaseColor cannot be resolved
import com.itextpdf.text.Document; // The import com.itextpdf.text.Document cannot be resolved
import com.itextpdf ... // and so on

It depends on whether you are using version 7 or 5 of iText. If you're using 7, the packages you will need to import change from com.itextpdf.* to com.itext.kernel.*, com.itext.layout.* etc.

Try to follow these steps:
Clean Your Eclipse Project: Go to Project > Clean in Eclipse (in menu above).
Refresh your project folder: (right click on your project > refresh).
Re-build your project.
And now you can select all JARs in that folder:( right click on project folder -> Build Path -> Add External Archives).

How to add RabbitMQ library to project? 'The import "com.rabbitmq" cannot be resolved'

I am working through the RabbitMQ Java tutorial found here: https://www.rabbitmq.com/tutorials/tutorial-one-java.html
I have downloaded the Java Client Library package, and copied the JAR files to my project in Eclipse, but the import statements
import com.rabbitmq.client.ConnectionFactory;
import com.rabbitmq.client.Connection;
import com.rabbitmq.client.Channel;
all yield the error
The import "com.rabbitmq" cannot be resolved.
The instructions are unclear how to incorporate the JAR files from the Java Client Library package, how should I proceed?

You can download the rabbitmq-java-client-bin-3.5.4.zip from official link here . Then extract the rabbitmq-client.jar from the zip & add it to your class path in project. Then you will be able to resolve The import "com.rabbitmq". Give it a try.

Since the verified answer doesn't work anymore, here is my solution:
You can download the amqp-client-5.8.0.jar from here . Then add it to your class path, like any other jar.
In case that the link doesn't work, you can manually download it from here or even add the required dependency to your maven/gradle project.

For Visual studio code(vscode) we need to add the library file under Referenced Libraries enter image description here under the Java projects section.

Issues in Integrating Authorize.net API's for android

I want to integrate my app with Authorize.Net. I have followed the Steps given in tutorial http://developer.authorize.net/integration/fifteenminutes/android/.
my library project anet_android_sdk showing no error. But when I created a new project as in step 3. I am getting error.
import net.authorize.android.AuthNet;
import net.authorize.android.AuthNetActivityBase;
import net.authorize.android.SimpleActivity;
import net.authorize.android.button.AuthNetButton;

Within the anet_android_sdk folder you will find the src folder and within that you will find some packages and classes.Just take the necessary packages and classes like
net.authorize.android.aim,net.authorize.android.arb,net.authorize.android.button,net.authorize.android.cim,net.authorize.android.notification etc. in your project.Maintain them within different packages as in the src folder.

The import javazoom cannot be resolved

hi all
i use the javazoom.jl.player.Player package but it is says The import javazoom cannot be resolved. i am using eclipse and doing Android project. i clean the project still the same error is shown. please correct me.

If eclipse can't resolve a package fragment of an import statement, then it tells you (with that error), that there is no library on the classpath that contains a class from that package (or from a package whose name starts with the missing part).
An easy way for standard java/eclipse:
create a folder lib in your projects root directory (with the eclipse workbench!)
copy and paste the jar into that folder
right-click the copied jar and select "add to build path".
This should eliminate the compiler errors immediately.

Taking the error message literally, it looks like you have a line of code like that:
import javazoom;
This would be wrong, because we don't import packages but classes from a package. To import all classes from the javazoom package, we'd say:
import javazoom.*;

You should download the .jar of jLayer ( http://www.javazoom.net/javalayer/sources.html )
And add into classpath in the way Andreas_D told you.
