I do not understand why this happens. Also if this is due to some Internet connectivity issues, why don't I get a cxf xsd exception?
The first explanation isn't pertinent, because the .xsd exists here:
http://camel.apache.org/schema/spring/camel-spring-2.9.0.xsd
Check your XML document. It's got another issue.
Posting that entire stack trace is thorough but unnecessary.
The XSD are provided in the dependencies. You should verify your classpath, you need to have version 2.9. You could also use the generic location in order to get the one available:

If I remove util:list tag from XML it is working fine but with this it is giving me an error.

This answer has a solution to the problem. Basically it says this is a library-version related problem and downloading the then [May 2016] last version of Tomcat solved the issue.

I'm using spring 4.0 and I'm able to access the spring beans xsd through my network browser.

I have checked the error logs, The actual issue is not with the xml file but with the jars.
Caused by: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; lineNumber: 8; columnNumber: 68; cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element 'beans'.
Make sure you have added all the required jars into your classpath.
Try this declaration instead, as far as I understand the version is not required.

What is wrong in my codes?
The <property> tag should go inside the bean tag. Note that you have closed it with /> before nesting the <property> tag.

You have the problem in your BasicBean class. It not following the java naming conventions for the pojo class. Your getter and setter methods for peroperty msg is wrong. You need to do following change.
Change the name of property to messsage instead of msg.

I cannot figure out how to use the jetty:endpoint in a Mule 3.1 context. Examples such as this question do not work in my context. The application fails to load after a long period of timeout:

It seems like the error happens when the .xsd is loaded for validation. But that is a valid URL, so I don't know what I could be doing wrong.
Any help would be appreciated.
