I have create a Dynamic Web Project with Maven Dependency Enabled. Now when I am running the application in my JBoss AS7 server in built in Eclipse the jar's from the Maven Dependency does not copied in the lib of the WAR file and for that reason I am getting ClassNotFoundException.
How can I solve this problem?

If you like to use Maven you have to follow the conventions of Maven which is the folder structure and you shouldn't try to go around cause you will loose that combat.
My suggestion is to first get your Maven build working and then import it into your IDE and continue working there after the build on command works fine.

I already
install a brand-new Maven 3.6.3,
set MAVEN_HOME,
delete all old things in .m2 folder;
Especially, I removed dependency javax.sql:jdbc-stdext:jar:2.0
Copy source code of Java server-side project to a new directory.
then I run
mvn package -X
So strange, I still catch error
Caused by: org.apache.maven.project.DependencyResolutionException:

until the update interval of central has elapsed or updates are forced
Full log at https://pastebin.com/arwRbzTp . How to fix it?
Temporary solution
download from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/wbw20/maven-repository/master/releases/javax/sql/jdbc-stdext/2.0/jdbc-stdext-2.0.jar
run
mvn install:install-file -DgroupId=javax.sql -DartifactId=jdbc-stdext -Dversion=2.0 -Dpackaging=jar -Dfile=jdbc-stdext-2.0.jar
Im using Maven to build my dependencies but for some reason the jars are imported but not the packages.

try the following step
right-click in your project, then Maven -> Update Project
I think the OP was saying even though he has defined POMs the packages couldn't be imported from within the class (POM isn't "recognized" or "imported")
I had this issue using IntelliJ IDEA 2022.2.2
Right click on the project
Hover over Maven
Hover over Run Maven
Click Reimport
The following dependency is added to my pom.xml file, yet Java is unable to resolve the imported class.
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.httpcomponents</groupId>
<artifactId>httpclient</artifactId>
<version>4.1.2</version>
<type>jar</type>
</dependency>
The httpcomponents jar exists in my local Maven repository (in ~/.m2/repository/org/apache/httpcomponents) But I can see in Eclipse that it doesn't show up in the Maven Dependencies.
The usual error persists.
The import org.apache.http.entity.mime cannot be resolved
I think I'm making some silly error / overlooking something (for example, do I need to add a third party repository in the pom.xml file?)
Edit
The complete pom.xml file is as follows.

Try using
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.httpcomponents</groupId>
<artifactId>httpclient</artifactId>
<version>4.3.2</version>
</dependency>
instead.
(Copied from http://search.maven.org/#artifactdetails%7Corg.apache.httpcomponents%7Chttpclient%7C4.3.2%7Cjar)
If the binary appears in your local repository, you don't need to do nothing else. Just have m2eclipse update your project configuration (right-click on your project -> Maven -> Update project...) and it should solve your dependency
Apparently I had been adding the wrong dependency. This is the correct one:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.httpcomponents</groupId>
<artifactId>httpmime</artifactId>
<version>4.0.1</version>
</dependency>
I'm writing a blogging application in Java that is using Spring MVC and Spring Security. I've gotten Spring Security configured, but I'm running into an issue where my application cannot resolve any class in the org.springframework.security package. When I try to compile after importing anything from this package, I get the following error:
package org.springframework.security does not exist
Right now I'm trying to implement my own user service details class and I cannot import the UserServiceDetails interface as a result of this.

Is there anything obviously wrong with the pom that would result in there being a problem with importing anything in the org.springframework.security package?
I appreciate anyone's help!
Spring Security 3.2.0 relies on Spring Core 3.2.6. You're currently running core version 3.2.5.
You can check other dependencies for Spring Security here
I have a problem with my project. It gives exception while deploying the project. I am using Tomcat7 and JRE1.7. All is fine about deployment assembly for maven dependency to web-inf/lib configuration.

I am using MongoDB on my project.
By the way, this is the web.xml part of the contextListener
<listener>
<listener-class>org.springframework.web.context.ContextLoaderListener</listener-class>
</listener>
<context-param>
<param-name>contextConfigLocation</param-name>
<param-value>
/WEB-INF/spring-servlet.xml
</param-value>
</context-param>
I have tried so much solution ways but i couldn't solve this problem.When i removed spring-data-mongodb dependency project is started but what is the problem with this i couldn't solve, because it was working yesterday.
Thanks for your attention.
One possible reason that you might have another version of spring-core jar along with 3.2.3.RELEASE in your classpath, a possible transitive dependency. CachingMetadataReaderFactory.clearCache() was added as a part of Spring Core 3.2.0.RELEASE. Having lower version of spring-core might therefore cause this problem.
So, adding an explicit spring-core 3.2.3.RELEASE dependency like the one below might just solve this problem:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-core</artifactId>
<version>${spring.version}</version>
</dependency>
Your spring-security-core jar version 3.1.4.RELEASE is depend on spring-core 3.0.7,so your project might be using this as transitive depenedency and spring-core 3.0.7 do not have CachingMetadataReaderFactory.clearCache() method which leads to exception.See spring-security jar dependencies here.
Though you have spring core - 3.2.0 jar, which has required method but it may not be called here.Try changing its order up in build path.
