Axis2.war is deployed successfully, but if I request the URL http://127.0.0.1:8080/axis2
I am getting this error:
HTTP Status 404 - /axis2
type Status report
message /axis2
description The requested resource (/axis2) is not available.
My question is: Is this URL wrong or am I doing some mistake during deployment time.
Please suggest some advice to me.
Thanks in advanced.

Axis2.war is deployed successfully
No.
It just says:
To trigger deployment create a file called axis2.war.dodeploy

Wildfly datasource services missing

I found in other threads others having a problem similar to mine but none of the solutions worked for me.
I'm migrating from jBoss 5 to Wildfly 18. I followed the official guide to migrate.
I set up the datasources in the standalone.xml file, and they are correctly connected (the admin console test - localhost:9990 - confirms that the connections to the DB are up and running).
Anyway, I got some errors while deploying my application.
It seems that there is something wrong with the services that are supposed to use the datasources and the connections.
Can anyone please take a look at the error log here below? Is anything familiar for anyone?
I cannot figure it out ...
Thanks in advance

Not able to access jboss 7 admin console on AWS EC2 Linux Env

I am not able to access the jboss console via the {public IP/DNS}:{Mgmt-Port} from my machine?
The Jboss is running inside the amazon linux (one of the EC2 instance in AWS).
I have used bind addresses as 0.0.0.0 but still not able to connect to admin console with the public ip and the management port, the ports are already opened in AWS console to accept the incoming traffic.
Anyone have any thoughts on what should be done?
I used:
ssh i [PEM FILE PATH] -L 9992:0.0.0.0:9990 [EC2 username]#EC2address.com
and was able to connect to jboss admin console with:
http://localhost:9992/console/
But i want to connect to the admin console with my public ip and management port.
Process of jboss startup:
./standalone.sh -Djboss.bind.addres=0.0.0.0 -Djboss.bind.address.management=0.0.0.0

Open a terminal and put
ssh -i [PEM FILE PATH] -L 9992:127.0.0.1:9990 [EC2 username]#[EC2 Public ip address]
and then you can open url 'http://127.0.0.1:9992' in safari.
I had a similar issue. To resolve the issue I did two things
started the server using the following command. You can use nohup/service/systemctl to execute the process in the background/service
either use
./standalone.sh -b=0.0.0.0 -bmanagement=0.0.0.0
or use
./standalone.sh -Djboss.bind.address=0.0.0.0 -Djboss.bind.address.management=0.0.0.0
[in your command one 's' was missing in 'address']
For more details ref: http://blog.arungupta.me/bind-wildfly-different-ip-address-multihomed/
I edited the AWS security group's inbound rules to allow access from any IP address as given in the image. [ I used it for test purpose.] You may use more stringent inbound rules to restrict access.

#Schedule causing DuplicateServiceException

I'm trying to implement a simple method in my JAX-WS project that, for the moment, prints to the console every second. I found this simple guide and I have tried to implement it to my current working project.
My TimerService.java looks like this:
package brass.ducks.controller;
import javax.ejb.EJB;
import javax.ejb.Schedule;
import javax.ejb.Singleton;
#Singleton
public class TimerService {
#EJB
HelloService helloService;
#Schedule(second="*/1", minute="*",hour="*", persistent=false)
public void doWork(){
System.out.println("timer: " + helloService.sayHello());
}
}
And my HelloService.java looks like this:
package brass.ducks.controller;
import javax.ejb.Stateless;
#Stateless
public class HelloService {
public String sayHello(){
return "Hello from control: " + System.currentTimeMillis();
}
}
I noted that the tutorial mentioned something about how to deploy? Would this be covered by just deploying the project on my local WildFly server or does it require something else?
Here is my stacktrace too:

Maybe you should try with the respective port for the management console then. Your log states the following: Admin console listening on http://127.0.0.1:9990.

context.lookup("datasource") returns org.jboss.jca.adapters.jdbc.WrapperDataSource

I am working on project which needs to be deployable on both weblogic and jboss. I have compiled wildfly from sources. Now, I am trying to get datasource using naming. Application is working fine on JBOSS EAP 6.1, I am able to get datasource reference as javax.sql.DataSource but now in widlfly, using following code
dataSource = (javax.sql.DataSource) context.lookup("datasource");
it throws exception
java.lang.ClassCastException: org.jboss.jca.adapters.jdbc.WrapperDataSource cannot be cast to javax.sql.DataSource
if I try using following code,
Object obj = context.lookup("datasource");
dataSource = (javax.sql.DataSource) obj;
it doesn't throw the above exception rather on using the datasource, it throws exception
Caused by: java.lang.IncompatibleClassChangeError: Class org.jboss.jca.adapters.jdbc.WrapperDataSource does not implement the requested interface javax.sql.DataSource
However, looking at code of class, we can see that it implements the javax.sql.DataSource
Can anyone please tell me how can I use the casted WrapperDataSource or get datasource returned as javax.sql.DataSource.

I assume it will have something to do with the way you configure your JDBC driver in the datasource on the server or if you supply another driver in your package that makes a collision with the actual driver you use.
A similar error can be found at https://community.jboss.org/message/250795
If that doesn't work out also post the version of the server in which you encounter the issue. Just to ensure you are not suffering from fixed data source patches on the server.
I posted the issue on WildFly Forum (WildFly Thread) and found that there is another jar containing javax.sql.DataSource interface.
I used a utility named jarscan.jar to search the interface in my modules and found that a jar was containing another javax.sql.DataSource class. Removing the jar form module resolved the issue.
