i am using the same example given here to upload my files tu Azure blob. when i run it as a plain Java project code, it is working fine but when i create a OSGi bundle out of it and try the same thing, i am getting following exception.

can someone please help me with this?

That is because you might not have the azureblob dependency in the application classpath. Make sure you have this dependency in your pom.xml file:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.jclouds.provider</groupId>
<artifactId>azureblob</artifactId>
<version>${jclouds.version}</version>
</dependency>
Have a look at the troubleshooting guide for more information on this error.

Unable to connect to S3 using spark-redshift library in java

I am trying to create a table in Redshift based on the spark dataset. I am using spark-redshift driver in jdbc to achieve this locally.
The code snippet to do this
data.write()
.format("com.databricks.spark.redshift")
.option("url", "jdbc:redshift://..")
.option("dbtable", "test_table")
.option("tempdir", "s3://temp")
.option("aws_iam_role", "arn:aws:iam::..")
.option("extracopyoptions", "region 'us-west-1'")
.mode(SaveMode.Append).save();
My maven pom.xml has following dependency:
<dependency>
<groupId>com.databricks</groupId>
<artifactId>spark-redshift_2.11</artifactId>
<version>2.0.1</version>
</dependency>
I am using java 1.8.

Please help me figure out what's wrong here.
I suppose you forget to include hadoop-aws package to your project. This package will allow you to work with s3:// schema
<!-- https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.apache.hadoop/hadoop-aws -->
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.hadoop</groupId>
<artifactId>hadoop-aws</artifactId>
<version>2.6.0</version>
</dependency>
Since you are trying to execute this code on your local system, your code won't know how to access s3 file system.
You can do one of the two things to solve this problem:
Configure AWS credentials in your system so that your code will somehow try to reach s3 bucket. I will not recommend this approach for various reasons.
Keep your file path in configuration file. Use 2 configuration files - one for testing code and other for production environment. In test environment, use paths like c:\path\to\your\dummy\folder\ and in production environment configuration file use paths like s3:\your_bucket_name\path\in\bucket.
Hope it helps.

Generate swagger.json

I have a java project (tomcat webapp) with some REST Api. I want to generate swagger documentation for them. I started from this tutorial (github).
I don't have maven we use an ant task. I included swagger-annotations-1.5.0.jar and all jar that cames with swagger-jaxrs JAR 1.5.0 version( I can include a complete list if it is useful)
I've annotated some method and I have a configuration class like this:
#ApplicationPath("/api")
public class Configurator extends Application {
public Configurator() {
init();
}
private void init() {
BeanConfig beanConfig = new BeanConfig();
beanConfig.setVersion("1.0.0");
beanConfig.setSchemes(new String[]{"http"});
beanConfig.setHost("myserver.it:8080");
beanConfig.setBasePath("/swagger-demo/api");
beanConfig.setResourcePackage("myserver.rest");
beanConfig.setTitle("RESTEasy, Swagger and Swagger UI Example");
beanConfig.setScan(true);
}
}
when I deploy it agains tomcat 9 I can see this log in localhost.log file

If I try to reach http://myserver.it:8080/swagger-demo/api/ this give me 404 error.
I read this post about this error (here) but I really can't say what's wrong. I'm strugglin.
Any hints would be appreciated
I answer to myself since I finally find a solution. Problem was inconsistency with libraries. I solved using this site Jar download, that gives me all the dependencies. Then I compare some libraries that I already jave in my project and in caso of conflict I choose the newest one.

I understand that the jar file containing the following class org/apache/commons/digester/Digester is missing in the server runtime.
I added this jar in $DOMAIN/lib and restarted the weblogic server. After deploying i receiving the same error.
Please advise.
It is a NoClassDefFound Error and not a ClassNotFoundException.
Check if you do not have a conflit with another version of the same library, and check also dependencies. Maybe, this library requires other jars to be added to the classpath.

Hazelcast on Glassfish as an OSGI bundle

Good day. I have some difficulties using the Hazelcast in Glassfish OSGi environment.
I have an OSGi bundle, which provides some EJBs and intended to be deployed on glassfish. This bundle uses Hazelcast and imports some hazelcast packages. I don't want to embed hazelcast jar so I tried to deploy it in Glassfish prior to deploying the subj. bundle.
$ asadmin deploy --type=osgi minimal-json-0.9.1.jar
$ asadmin deploy --type=osgi hazelcast-3.3.3.jar
Hazelcast deployed successfully. But when I deploy my bundle, and when one of the EJBs from this bundle tries to create a HazelcastInstance, I get the following exception:
org.glassfish.osgijavaeebase.DeploymentException: Deployment of xxx.xxx.platon-cache [398] failed because of following reason: Failed while deploying bundle xxx.xxx.platon-cache [398] : java.lang.RuntimeException: Failed to deploy bundle [ xxx.xxx.platon-cache [398] ], root cause: Exception while loading the app

The hazelcast instance is created in the only place, so there shouldn't be any conflicts with some other hazelcast cluster. Everything works correctly in non-osgi environment.
The hazelcast config is the simpliest one:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<hazelcast xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.hazelcast.com/schema/config hazelcast-config-3.1.xsd" xmlns="http://www.hazelcast.com/schema/config" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
<group>
<name>dev</name>
<password>dev-pass</password>
</group>
<network>
<port auto-increment="true" port-count="100">5701</port>
<outbound-ports>
<ports>0</ports>
</outbound-ports>
<join>
<multicast enabled="false">
<multicast-group>224.2.2.3</multicast-group>
<multicast-port>54327</multicast-port>
</multicast>
<tcp-ip enabled="true">
<interface>127.0.0.1</interface>
</tcp-ip>
</join>
</network>
</hazelcast>
What is the reason of this exception?
it smells very much like this issue: https://github.com/hazelcast/hazelcast/issues/3922.
Can you please try it with the latest Hazelcast 3.3.4-SNAPSHOT? It should be fixed there.
EDIT: This workaround is not needed anymore; Latest releases of both 3.3 and 3.4 branches include this fix.

Tomcat Restart automatically Web Application on startup, after error

I've a big trouble on tomcat.
Before explaine, let me tell is the first time I see something like this...
I'm building an application using JPA on Hibernate, Spring 3.0 and Jersey REST Framework.
When using glassfish, everything works fine, but deployng the same application on tomcat, I registered the following error code:

Then tomcat restarts the application and again, the same error. In an infinite loop.
Looks like a library conflict, but I really don't have any ideas on how to solve it...
Any suggestion is appreciated!
Ciao, Davide.
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.sun.jersey.spi.container.servlet.ServletContainer suggests that you either don't have the Jersey JAR file or you've put it in the wrong place.
If it's the former, download it here and add it to Tomcat.
If it's the latter, put it and all its dependencies in either your WEB-INF/lib, server/lib for Tomcat 5.x or lib for Tomcat 6.x. (Just one, not all.)
It works with Glassfish because they've bundled it for you. Tomcat has not.
Remove all Jersey JAR from /WEB_INF/lib folder, refresh project and again paste all JARs of Jersey library into /WEB_INF/lib. Refresh project, stop server again, deploy and run.
It looks like either jersey.jar and/or jsr311-api.jar are missing from your webapp. You might check they are in the WEB-INF/lib folder.
