Unable to build EntityManagerFactory + JDBC Driver class not found - java

i have this project where i'm using hibernate, maven,gwt ,JPA, Tomcat, and spring,mysql. Anyway i have been trying to solve this error with no success.
I have already configured my mysql connector "mysql-connector-java"
this is my error:

I do remember you were using maven. Make sure you clean and build your project and restart your server to pick up the changes to your classpath if you do have the following entry in your pom.xml
<dependency>
<groupId>mysql</groupId>
<artifactId>mysql-connector-java</artifactId>
<version>5.1.6</version>
</dependency>
This dude has some good tutorials btw
This is one is how to use hibernate, maven and mysql

I tried to resolve it, I updated my spring and jdk versions thinking it might be the reason but they all resulted in the same above exception.
Please see https://docs.spring.io/spring-native/docs/current/reference/htmlsingle/. It says
Spring Native 0.10.2 only supports Spring Boot 2.5.3, so change the version if necessary.
If you are running an older version of spring boot than 2.5.3, please try to upgrade and see if that helps.
See https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.springframework.boot/spring-boot-starter-parent for a list of available versions of spring boot.

Configuring hibernate 4.2.1 in a maven project

I need your help friends.
You need to remove <scope>test</scope> from your dependency declaration. You aren't only using the driver for your tests, but also for your actual runtime use.
Specifying <scope>test</scope> will instruct Maven to only load the dependency when running your tests. You should also ask yourself if you really want to use a preview version, and not a officially released version (ie: 6.2.2.jre8).

<dependency>
<groupId>org.datanucleus</groupId>
<artifactId>datanucleus-api-jdo</artifactId>
<version>5.0.3</version>
</dependency>
The weird thing is that this only happens when I use my code through the jar, when I run it from eclipse, the thing works perfectly.
I double checked through "jar tf" and the jar that I run does contain the "datanucleus-api-jdo-5.0.3.jar".
I've searched for conflicts in my dependency hierarchy and there is one dependency that also use an older version of the "datanucleus-api-jdo", but it's omitted for conflict according to eclipse and excluding it does not solve the problem
Not sure if that helps but the run configuration within eclipse is "clean package spring-boot:run".
Any ideas of what is causing this?
If you think any information is missing please ask

I know there have been many posts regarding this exception, but I am not able to fix this issue. Classpath has to be edited I think to resolve it.

The last 2 jar files have those classes PlatformName and FsShell. Still its not working.
Can anyone please help me fix this issue?
Thanks
hadoop-auth-2.2.0.jar should be there for hadoop2.2.0
Add hadoop auth jar for your version
If you are a maven user and faced this issue -
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.hadoop</groupId>
<artifactId>hadoop-client</artifactId>
<version>${hadoop.client.version}</version>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.hadoop</groupId>
<artifactId>hadoop-common</artifactId>
<version>${hadoop.client.version}</version>
</dependency>
NOTE: :hadoop-client:2.5.2 alone didn't bring in all the required hadoop dependencies. That is why I added hadoop-common, which brought all the required deps.
Hadoop HADOOP_CLASSPATH issues
This would be helpful.
Thanks & Regards,
Alok Thaker
In my particular case, I am using Maven, and although I had hadoop-auth in both the POM and the classpath, I was still getting this exception.
What finally fixed it for me was changing the scope for the dependency in the POM from "provided" to "compile".

Grails not picking patched jar file

I am working on grails 2.0.3 project. On the way I noticed that following dependency of grails 2.0.3: org.grails:grails-datastore-core:1.1.4.RELEASE had a bug. So I patched the jar file and placed it in lib folder of grails. In BuildConfig.groovy excluded grails jar file and gave my own dependency as given below
inherits("global") {
excludes "grails-datastore-core"
}
dependencies {
compile 'org.grails:grails-datastore-core:1.1.4.RELEASE'
}
Then ran following steps:
grails clean
grails compile --refresh-dependencies
grails run-app
but got following error:

I have tried renaming the jar file and changing scope of dependency to runtime but no luck.
I have also tried upgrading using this link but still get the same error.
Any kind of help is appreciated
