JDBC driver cannot be loaded. Why? (Spring,Hibernate) - java

I have created a program (SPRING+HIBERNATE) through Maven two weeks ago and now it is having a problem with loading JDBC driver (which wasn't occur until now). So, my pom.xml file looks like this:

It seems that this file is clear. But what is the main problem that JDBC driver cannot be loaded while I am trying to create a dataSource bean.

Get rid of the ; at the end of your property
jdbc.driverClassName=com.mysql.jdbc.Driver;
Spring uses reflection and the value of that property to load a Class instance by fully qualified class name. There is no class called com.mysql.jdbc.Driver;. There is a class called com.mysql.jdbc.Driver, so use that.

There are several things flawed in your approach
Mixing 3 different Spring versions (5.0, 4.2 and 4.0)
Using a hibernate version that isn't supported by Spring 4
Use Hibernate 4 support classes to configure hibernate 5
Tried to use Spring Boot, stepped back and worked around it
Use Hibernate instead of JPA and Hibernate as the JPA provider
First of all clean up your pom.xml and use Spring Boots dependency management to your advantage.

Notice that most of your dependencies are gone as most of them are already managed by one of the starters you had (slf4j, logback, Spring dependencies). You want to use Hibernate (and I suggest to use JPA instead of plain hibernate) it is enough to add spring-boot-starter-data-jpa to get all the needed dependencies.
Next create an application.properties in src/main/resources and put the following in there (deducted from your question).

This will configure the datasource and create the schema (although you are better not to use that in production!).
Now modify your SpringHibernateMain and put an #SpringBootApplication annotation on it and change your main method. Also place your entities in a proper sub package.

Now place the SpringHibernateMain in a decent package like springboot.beans.app (as you had) and place the entities in springboot.beans.app.entities and everything else in springboot.beans.app.services (instead of what you have now).
The thing left for you is to "rewrite" your classes InsertRecords2 and ManageEmployee to use the EntityManager instead of the plain SessionFactory. It will still use Hibernate underneath but generally it is better to use JPA and only plain Hibernate in those cases you really need.

load external config file in spring batch admin

I downloaded the spring batch admin application in the github repo and I imported it in eclipse. it works perfectly.
Then, I asked myself how to import an external config file into the application that I can use in my job definition class.

Spring batch admin searches configurations in specific paths.This page explains from which paths it loads resources:

Under main folder of spring-batch-admin template, there are three folders - java, resources and webapp. Under resources there are some property files and META-INF folder. within META-INF there are two folders - batch and servlet.
Here If I want to add new property file "batch.properties" under resources and want to refer the property values from configuration (xml) files from "META-INF/batch/*.xml" in addition to the properties from spring-batch-admin-manager-1.0.0.M1.jar,
1. where to add below entries
Where to keep "env-context.xml". Under which folders, coz in "src/main/resources/META-INF" i can see only one folder batch.
I tried to create "spring/batch/override/manager/env-context.xml" under "src/main/resources/META-INF" but not able to read the property file entries.
If you provide your working application folder structure will help me a lot.
You can put your env-context.xml file on spring/batch/servlet/override/env-context.xml folder.

Spring Data JPA by default looks for an EntityManagerFactory named entityManagerFactory. Check out this part of the Javadoc of EnableJpaRepositories or Table 2.1 of the Spring Data JPA documentation.
That means that you either have to rename your emf bean to entityManagerFactory or change your Spring configuration to:

Had this issue when migrated spring boot 1.5.2 to 2.0.4.

I think this is related to the newer version of spring boot plus using spring data JPA.
Just replace the #Bean annotation for public LocalContainerEntityManagerFactoryBean entityManagerFactory()
to

Determining the name of bean should solve the issue.
It might help somebody.
For me none of the above solutions worked so I went into the folder where my project is situated deleted .idea folder, imported my project again and run - mvn clean install.
After this everything worked fine.

Well, I change the versions of spring dependencies. They are all in 4.0.0.RELEASE now.
Plus I remove #Controller("PollService") in PollServiceImpl like said Boris Treukhov.

Where is the line Session session = sessionFactory.getCurrentSession();? If it's a simple member variable, then it will be executed at construction time. But the resources aren't injected until later. So move that line into a method annotated with #Before.

Also: i would advice to use spring-boot and its auto-config to get up and running. Lets you use spring without all the hassle of getting every config right the first time.
The learning-curve is quite steep for spring (i am still a beginner myself :))

Runner vs extending SpringContextTests
When are you using runner

Note: this class (AbstractTransactionalJUnit4SpringContextTests) serves only as a convenience for extension. If you do not wish for your test classes to be tied to a Spring-specific class hierarchy, you may configure your own custom test classes by using SpringJUnit4ClassRunner, #ContextConfiguration, #TestExecutionListeners, #Transactional, etc.
Use #Before for instantiating fields
Fields should be instantiated inside #Before like #Paul Hicks said or inplace, where they are declared if this is possible.

You explicitly set a spring-hibernate3 dependency:

It's not a coincidence that this is the bean you're getting the exception on.
You shouldn't need to do that; is there a reason you're not using spring-orm of the same version of Spring you're using? I haven't set an explicit hibernate3 dependency for quite some time.
An IncompatibleClassChangeError means that JVM is getting contradictory information about some class. This typically happens when you compile some code against one version of an class or interface, but then use a different version of that class / interface at runtime. The problem is picked up at runtime when the JVM checks that the class and method signatures match.
In this case, the "Implementing class" message seems to be saying that the class that changed no longer implements some interface that it did originally. (Maybe the package name changed.)
Somewhere in your log files there should be a message that names the classes that are causing the problem, but the expurgated versions of the stacktrace that you provided don't.
I'd say they are two possibilities. One is that you've got a problem with the way you are doing your builds, and that you are not recompiling things that ought to be recompiled. The other possibility is that you've got an inconsistent mix of JARs in your WAR file; e.g. you are somehow mixing JARs from different versions of Spring.
