exporting project with native libraries in eclipse - java

I have a project that uses leap motion sdk. I wrote this project in Eclipse. When I run my program I don't have any problem because I set my native libraries as it is suggested from configuration.
However, when I export my application I can not run my program because Eclipse does not include my native libraries and I am having this error.
Native code library failed to load.
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no LeapJava in java.library.path
My purpose is create a .jar file which user can run with one click on Windows(just). I tried this methodologies as it is suggested in stackoverflow. However, I could not get this result.
1.) method with static{ System.load("write each .dll") }
This did not work becuse I am having a error when I try to load Leapd.dll.
2.) System.setProperty("java.library.path", "C:/Users/can/Desktop/Vinar_libraries/LeapSDK/lib/x64/" );
This one also did not work.
3.) Adding -Djava.library.path="\LeapSDK\lib\x64" parameter from running configurations on Eclipse.
I know this subject is mentioned many times in stackoverflow. However, proposed solutions did not work for Leap Motion sensor.

Trouble running a Java.jar file with a Swing GUI on Android phone - Major.Minor Version 52.0 & Main Class Name Missing

Hello!
The goal I have is pretty simple: I want to create an executable .jar file which should be able to bring up a form (made using swing) and write the put-in information into a well structurized plain text file. Due to portability/mobility reasons I will have to run this on an Android phone.
Since Android unfortunately doesn't have native Java support and I am unable to code a real Android application myself, I tried to use a Java emulator. Unfortunately, it appears that a working Java Emulator is hard to find to begin with. JBED instantly crashes on my Medion X701. Netmite's Website, which also seems to offer a .jar to .apk converter, appears to be down. JBlend seems to have installed properly, but I do not know how to work with the program now that it presents me nothing but an empty screen with the caption "0 Java ME Application(s)". On the web, I could not find a proper manual. PhoneME's official website was Java.net, which is no longer active. But during my research, I could find an older Version of PhoneME which seems to be running well.
As a test, I created a simple jar file that shows a maximized JFrame. Unfortunately, it isn't able to run my simple executable Jar file on my phone. The main reason for that should be the aforementioned error, which implies that the interpreter there is probably Java version 1.7, since PhoneME's last release was in 2015. There are more error messages referring to an "unknown source", which I believe originate from the first error. I tried to recompile my jar file using Eclipse, by setting the Compiler compliance level to 1.7 and choosing the jre 1.7 before exporting my project. Unfortunately, this didn't change the error messages I got on PhoneME!
As my last attempt, I created a Startup.class file which does the very same thing as my jar file.
import javax.swing.*;
public class Startup {
public static void main(String[] args) {
JFrame fishForm = new JFrame("Questionnaire");
fishForm.setExtendedState(JFrame.MAXIMIZED_BOTH);
fishForm.setVisible(true);
}
}
I compiled it using the command prompt in order to make sure that it is indeed using java 1.7 as the target. This .class file, which ran fine on my computer, leads me into a different error: "Main class name missing.", followed by multiple lines of usage explaination. The command line PhoneME presents doesn't seem to allow me to post command operations myself, as pressing Enter on the virtual keyboard does nothing.
My Questions
Is it even possible to run a Java application on Android which relies on the GUI libraries of Swing, or am I wasting my time?
Is there a different, up-to-date Java emulator for Android which I could use? Or is there a working jar2apk converter somewhere out there?
If not, then there's probably a reason why Java emulators ceased to exist. Is there a much simpler solution for my initial problem which I am missing?
I'll await your ideas eagerly!

Business Objects 'bcm.jar' error when exporting Java app

I have been working on creating a simple Java desktop app using the RESTful API for Business Objects and have run into an issue. Whenever I run my app in Eclipse in works fine; whenever I export it as a 'Runnable Jar' and select the Library handling option 'Package required libraries into generated JAR' it works fine. However, whenever I try to export it using the Library handling option 'Extract required libraries into generated JAR' I get the following error after running the app:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class com.businessobjects.bcm.BCM
I have the 'bcm.jar' file added under a 'res' Source Folder and have it added to the Build Path. At one point I added all the JARs under the 'SAP BusinessObjects' java folder, and external folder, but it still throws the error. The problem stems from this line of code:
enterpriseSession = CrystalEnterprise.getSessionMgr().logon(userID, password, CMS, auth);
Would anyone know why I am getting said error? I really want to use the Extract option as it will improve performance as my app becomes larger. Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated :)
EDIT: I would be happy to provide clarification or further detail upon request!
Seems this was introduced in SP04 and SAP has no intent of fixing it as the RESTful API wasn't designed to be used with Desktop apps.
Have you included the cryptojFIPS.jar? Leaving it out can cause the error.

ClassNotFoundException with static context class [duplicate]

I write a android app in Eclipse and use run command on my cellphone.
It's run success on my cellphone.
But I use [Android Tools -> Export Signed Application Package...] to export my app.
Then use [adb install] to install apk on my cellphone and run.
And I got the error message:
07-22 11:20:43.537: E/AndroidRuntime(20216): Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.mytest.MyActivity in loader dalvik.system.PathClassLoader[/data/app/com.mytest-1.apk]
In [Java Build Path -> Order and Export], I have been selected all.
In AndroidManifest.xml, the application attribute doesn't have android:name.
I don't know how to solve this problem.
I'm success use Eclipse run on my cellphone, why run error when I export the app?
please help me, thanks!!
I had same issue, after 2 hours of research I managed to fix this problem by deleting "bin" and "gen" folders and rebuilding project.
There seems to multiple reasons for this happening from what I have researched. Do you have a lib folder? if so change it to "libs".
Do you have proguard enabled? If so that may cause the problem.
Also try unchecking the "Android #.#.#" and "Android Dependencies" in your Build Path, Order and Export.
Check out this thread which has a bunch of other possible solutions, a lot of them deal with setting the proper ActivityName in the manifest file.
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException on working app
If those solutions still don't solve the problem try these threads.
Android: Unable to instantiate activity / ClassNotFoundException
ClassNotFoundException Android
What I had to do is just re-do the building/exporting process with no modification to the code whatsoever. It worked for me, which I did was to export it two times.
On my first export, the build APK has lower file size and the second export (with no any modification to the code/configuration) produced a slightly larger file size (about 200KB diff).
This bug in building is really costly, kills you in front of your manager, and should be really fixed by Android/Eclipse team. Kind of sucks

Eclipse ClassNotFoundException

Everything works fined, but suddenly eclipse stopped execute and junit tests or even main method, when i run them using run as - > Java application, run as -> junit test
It simply throws error
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: package.ClassName
whene ClassName - is class from where i trying to run method main.
It affect only one of my projects ... Different workspaces works fine, other project in same workspace works fine as well.
I'm sure if i recreate current project, error will gone. But the adjustments of this project in eclipse is really hard, so i want to avoid it.
Any clue?
The ClassName is not in the Class Path, if you start from console you should use -cp parameter , if from eclipse, please add ClassName to the sources of current(start) project.
Thanks to adarshr, I was able to look at the Problems window and determine that the build was failing because it could not find a class I had written.
I had used the MS TFS plugin to create a "shelveset" and it was supposed to have removed my pending changes in the process. However, this integration with the TFS snapin and Eclipse is obviously not well implemented, since the Eclipse project still thought the file existed and was complaining that it could not be compiled.
I went and manually deleted those "files" or "non-existing files" from the Eclipse project (that I thought I had removed with the shelveset action) and the problem was solved.
Also....
Another annoying things is that the Tomcat error I was getting by trying to debug within Eclipse was like this:
SEVERE: Error configuring application listener of class
com.CompanyName.ProjectName.servlet.StartupConfigListener
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:
com.CompanyName.ProjectName.servlet.StartupConfigListener at
org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoader.loadClass(WebappClassLoader.java:1643)
In reality, there was no problem at all with StartupConfigListener.java!! The build failed due to the OTHER problems I mentioned above, and therefore I guess this was the first class it attempted to load and failed.... because the entire project hadn't been able to compile perhaps?
(Here's to hoping my next project is using Visual Studio instead of Eclipse!)
Ok, I finally figured it out. The problem was with installed JRE in eclipse setting. I was playing around with this setting and changed installed JRE to JDK, and for some reason it broke the eclipse project.
You can also try going back to the basics. Check your command line and VM args. I've had this situation where a VM arg I was passing in was a path to a file that had a space in the path, and I had forgotten to include the full path in quotes. So e.g., if my arg looked something like
-DFILE=C:\Documents and Settings\myfile
...I'd get a java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError caused by a java.lang.ClassNotFoundException.

Java Reflection not working on my system - working for team members

I am working on a team project in Java. One requirement is that we dynamically populate a drop-down menu of all classes that implement a certain interface. New classes can be added after compile time. To accomplish this we are using reflection.
Problem: All of the drop-down menus are blank on my system. I cannot for the life of me figure out why they are not populating. All other 5 team members have it working on their system.
Things I tired that didn't work:
1) Installing most recent eclipse (galileo) because rest team was using it
2) Re-install most recent java release (jdk1.6.0-17 and jre6)
3) Check PATH and JAVA_HOME variables
Any thoughts as to what else I can try or if something I did should have solved it and didn't? It is driving me crazy.
Edit:
I should have been clearer that we are developing in a team. We are using SVN for version control and we are all running the exact same source code. I even tried checking out a fresh copy of the entire tree from SVN, but I had the same issue with reflection on my system while it worked for teammates.
The team created an executable jar and that ran on everyone's system fine except for mine. Everything worked for me except the reflection bit.
You need to debug your application. This means you have to systematically explore possible causes of the problem. Here are some things that come to mind:
Could your GUI be failing rather than reflection? What if you output with System.out.println() rather than your menu?
Is your reflection code throwing an exception, and are you ignoring it?
Is your reflection code actually being called? Toss a println() in there to be sure!
Is the test for the interface suffering from a typo or similar error that's causing it to fail? Try finding classes that implement Serializable instead!
Is your reflection test running in the main thread and trying to update your GUI? You need to use SwingUtilities.invokeAndWait to get an update to the Swing worker thread.
You're working with Eclipse; Eclipse has a fantastic debugger. Set a breakpoint near where your main action is and then single step through the code.
PATH and JAVA_HOME won't help. PATH only affects dynamically-linked libraries ("native code"). JAVA_HOME is a scripting variable that happens to be used by some Java-based utilities like Ant and Tomcat; it means nothing to the Java runtime itself.
You need to be investigating the classpath, which should be specified by the -classpath option to the java command, in the Build Path in your Eclipse project properties, or in the Class-Path attribute of the main section of a JAR file if you're launching java with the -jar option.
From within your code, you should be able to list the contents of your classpath by examining the system property, "java.class.path"
System.out.println(System.getProperty("java.class.path"));
Problem solution:
Classpath leading to source code must have no spaces in it.
I am running windows XP and, for whatever reason, if the classpath that leads to the jar file or source code that is using reflection has any spaces in it, then the reflection fails.
I took the jar file that works for the rest of my team and ran it from C:\ on my system and the reflection worked perfectly fine.
I do not know why this is so please comment if you know what is happening.
Might be a long shot, but look for differences in security settings for you and your team mates. Article describing more details http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/library/j-dyn0603/ heading "Security and reflection"
