Okay so I'm having an issue for a multiplayer game that I'm making with RMI.
I have to use RMI, it's one of the requirements of the project.

Here's the PlayerTwoControl class, it's pretty much empty right now as all I want right now for it to run and compile so I can test basic control for p2;

The class named in the exception isn't available on the CLASSPATH of the Registry. Simplest solution is to start the Registry in the server JVM with LocateRegistry.createRegistry(), instead of using the command line registry.
NB you did not get this error when compiling.

I'm using Java Scene Builder to design the GUI and I have 2 controller (Controller1 and Controller2) and 2 FXML files (fxml1 applies Controller1 and fxml2 applies Controller2)
Since I'm planning to access the field on Controller2 to be modified after I call an event on Controller1, I created a variable called foo that is of type Controller2 inside Controller1 class.
I have a method someMethod(arg) in Controller2 class to be accessed by Controller1 when a button is pressed.
So in the body of the Controller1 , I typed foo.someMethod(someArg) and it compiles fine.

From a quick google search, the error seems to suggest that it's a reflection type of error. Does that mean I have to implement reflection in order to get it to work?
EDIT : According to James_D, the error is due to NullPointerException.
Apparently I only created variable of type Controller2 but it wasn't referred to the Controller2 instance created.
So in Controller1 class, I typed (in scala language) : var foo = fxml2.getController[Controller2](). It assigns the controller instance used by fxml2 to the variable called bar. But now I got an error that still says NullPointerException. Here are some part of the code containing the instance assignment :

I did publish the Hibernate:application=Statistics bean and I can see the bean from jboss jmxconsole.
I added the hibernte3.jar to the jconsole classpath as well.I use jdk 1.7 and jboss 4.2.3 GA.

Our applet throws following exception on java8(jre 1.8._0.31) platform. Problem seems to same at this question but one big difference this exception thrown by Plugin code block not our code block. I think Plugin is trying to load applet jar and failed. Our applet not signed but domain where it runs is in "Edit Site List". Additionally another unsigned applet at same domain works without any problem.

What do I need to change to accomplish this? -> For those of you curious, line 98 is the line with FXMLLoader.
".." is not valid in a string provided to getResource(...). Remember that you will typically be loading from inside a jar file. (There is not real concept of from where your relative path is being defined.) Provide the path in the form
getClass().getResource("/path/to/fxml/NewProject.fxml");
where the path you define is relative to your classpath.
I also faced with such an issue, please try to replace this:
getClass().getClassLoader().getResource("../fxml/NewProject.fxml")
with this:
getClass().getResource("../fxml/NewProject.fxml")
