Application not starting in Tomcat 9.0.12

We have one application running in lower environments without any issues but failing to start with below exception in production. Can somebody help me?
The code builds perfectly without issues and when we try to deploy generated war file in Tomcat server it fails to start with bellow error. I tried to take the war file from production and deploy in lower environments it works perfectly.

Check the version of jackson jar file that is in your lib folder of your webapp. If it is not there, then you are using the version of jar which comes with tomcat.
In such a case the jackson version in your tomcat is different from the tomcat on which you are deploying your project.
You can add jackson jar to your lib folder and restart tomcat. Check the below method in your jackon jar file.

Most likely the Tomcat setup is different across different environments:
use different Java version when running Tomcat on different environments
using -noverify or similar flags when running Tomcat on lower environments
added JARs into TOMCAT_HOME\lib that conflict with the ones shipped inside your WAR on production environment
As per this answer on VerifyError:
Normally, the compiler will flag problems where method signatures do not match. The JVM will verify the bytecode again when the class is loaded, and throws VerifyError when the bytecode is trying to do something that should not be allowed -- e.g. calling a method that returns String and then stores that return value in a field that holds a List.

Spring Roo project failed to run with Spring 4.1

I have created a spring project with spring roo 1.2.5 and I changed the in the pom.xml file to 4.1.1.RELEASE.
The project failed to start with the following error from the tomcat 8 server:

Does any one has any idea on the error?

You changed the Spring version from 3.x to 4.x. As a major version change, this will cause the Roo generated class ApplicationConversionServiceFactoryBean to not be found (deprecated method could be removed, changed the way of configure some componets, etc).
So, I advice you to use the spring 3.2.11 version, which is latest of 3.X branch.

If it is empty (ClassNotFoundException) delete your roo project in eclipse.
Delete eclipse related files (.classpath, .settings and .project) and reimport project as maven project.

I dont know how to bypass this.
In fact, I try to create a REST Webservice with Spring. It works fine when I use the tutorial where we have to start the service manually.
But when I want to deploy my app witch a war file (with the Spring tutorial build.gradle) it doesnt work...

Okay, so I created a template in src /resources/templates , with nothing inside and the War can be deployed.
Now, my problem is that I always have a 404 error. Even of I use #ReponseBody with a string :

i had the same problem too.I changed my mysql default port number and config. it was running on port 8080 which is the default port of apache tomcat.so i changed mysql port number to 3306.Now the program run smoothly!! Try it. it may work for you too..!

Spring: Map of beans, trying to inject dependency in the another bean, getting null pointer

I am trying to create the map of the beans in the spring by the following piece of configuration.
<util:map id="utilBeansMap" map-class="java.util.HashMap">
<entry key="getFlightsLogger">
<bean
class="com.test.package.bean1" />
</entry>
<entry key="getOnDLogger">
<bean
class="com.test.package.bean2" />
</entry>
</util:map>
And then injecting this Map as a Resource in another bean (say UserSerice) using
#Resource(name = "utilBeansMap")
private Map<String, BaseUtilBean> utilBeansMap;
But I am getting null pointer when I am trying to get bean from this map.
I looked at the logs. Logs shows that this map bean get initialized, but by the time when UserService starts initiating this map bean is already destroyed.

So it seems like you think Spring can inject
#Resource(name = "utilBeansMap")
private Map<String, BaseUtilBean> utilBeansMap;
before it actually creates the object.
That's not how it works. Spring creates the instance through reflection, then, again through reflection, finds the #Resource target field and sets it. If you need to do initialization with your injected field, use a #PostConstructannotated method.
Any method (there are rules for the method definition) annotated with #PostConstruct will be called after the container is finished initializing the bean. If you had a constructor like
public MyClass() {
BaseUtilBean bean = utilBeansMap.get("theKey");
// do something with bean
}
this wouldn't work because utilBeansMap would be null. Instead, you could refactor to
public MyClass() {
// do stuff you know doesn't use injected fields
}
#PostConstruct
public void init() {
BaseUtilBean bean = utilBeansMap.get("theKey");
// do something with bean
}
Spring will instantiate your bean, inject the fields, and then call init().
