Well, my application is like a server and client relationship.
Laptop Bluetooth device is a server where Java application is running.
Android app is client, which request to server and send text messages.
I have to connect server using android app.
When I try to connect device through my app it ask for pairing.
I want to auto pair this both devices.
I have tried couple of days but didn't get perfect solution.
Please help me out.

I am working on an app that will act as a dashboard for an electronic card installed in cars and trucks.
I need the application to be able to receive data from this card, so I can display it in various ways on the app.
We chose Wifi for the communication method. To access the card, my app is able to connect to a Wifi network created by it.
I would like to receive JSON sent by the card every second.
I need help on where to start to make the two devices communicate, and what are the good practices on implementing this kind of communication.
The app basically act as a client, and the card as a server.
I found something about sockets, but it seemed to use two Android devices, a server and a client, so I'm kinda stuck here.
I use Android Studio 2.1.2 with the Android APIs ranging from 19 to latest.
One option is to broadcast with UDP the data within the local network. The moment the android device connects to the wifi network it will be in its local network. So the data can be received at the android end with a multicast receiver(check out http://jgroups.org/ ).

It may also use the p2p sharing with TCP and bind the device with static IPs for communication. Create a simple socket receiver at the android end and a service at the device end. Depends on the way you choose it.
I'm trying to create a TCP connection between my PC and Android smartphone to send text from the PC (Client) to the Android App (Server).
I found a tutorial which helped me with the code for the App which creates the server ( http://pastebin.com/z0xPSAvP ).
Now I'm struggling connecting my client with the server. The client is programmed with "AutoIt"

When I run the client the "could not connect to $socket" msg-box is displayed.
Could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong here?
Both devices are in the same Network (smartphone via WiFi and PC via LAN) and I checked for the smartphones IP in the smartphone settings.
First, try to access something like Google from your Android phone using its mobile browser. Maybe something still wrong with the network.
Then create a version of the server that could deliver simple HTTP response, visible from the Android mobile browser. Doing so with success eliminates firewalls and all client-related issues from the list of possible problems, making sure the server works and is accessible.
If it still does not work after you demonstrate connection between server and mobile browser, I would suggest to write the client in Java first using the this tutorial. You can try AutoIt and other more exotic approaches after you get anything working at all.
I wrote an email app and I am running it on android emulator. Basically this app captures the picture using camera and then sends it to a person through email. But the problem is when I try to send an email or capture an image from the emualtor, I get error FORCE CLOSE. How can I solve this problem? I don't have an android phone to test the app on the phone.

Does the test environment have connection to your SMTP server? Sometimes a firewall will prevent an application such as the emulator to reach a secure source such as the SMTP server.
Configure email client in your emulator. Then try for sending email. Also add necessary permissions such as "uses-permission android:name="android.permission.INTERNET""
in your AndroidManifest.xml.

I've made all as it is said and nothing works. I have got server app on emulator 5554 and client app on emulator 5556. They are using ports 6000 server app and 5000 client app. What I want is to communicate when this two emulators are open - in both ways.
At the beginning server app shows her ip, and in client app user have to write this ip. That is whole configuration.
As in mentioned post was said I've written redir add tcp:5000:6000 but nothing works. Also when I write redir add tcp:6000:5000 nothing happen. Those apps don't hear each other. However if server is on other device than everything works fine.
Maybe it is stupid question but can someone guide me through this, because I don't know what am I doing wrong.
i am developing an APP in Android which share screen to all android mobile phone connected in a session.
i want to know that android provides any sdk which provides same service like desktop to dektop access as in team View ?
or any Idea, which SDK i have to used?

Smartphones can't directly connect to each others since they are running in different networks. The common way to solve this is an additional server component. All phones need to connect to the server and send their data. The server is pushing this data to other connected clients, probably by using push notifications. In Android Push Notifications are known as C2DM.

I like 2X RDP a lot. It works very well on phone and tablet and connects to the regular Windows RDP server, so don’t have to install anything else on the server machine.
