JPA packagesToScan not causing package-info.java annotations to be scanned - java

I am having trouble configuring JPA global type mappings via the package-info.java file, which looks like this:

I believe the packagesToScan property is being used, because all my entity classes are configured into the EntityManagerFactory. Only the package-info.java file is not being used. Any suggestions for configuring the package-info.java file into the EntityManagerFactory?

How to make Spring JMS pick destination queue name from annotation #JmsListener

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I am trying to create a replacement for MDB with spring JMSListener. I wanted the destination name to be passed as a annotation, but i noticed that org.springframework.jms.listener.DefaultMessageListenerContainer container config has destinationName or destination as mandatory. Am i missing something ? How to make use of destination resolver to use queue name from #JmsListener annotation?

HikariCP too many Connections with jooq

When using jooq and HikariCP DataSource (Autowired) in a Spring Restful API i get the problem, that jooq is somehow not releasing the DataSource.

Ok i fixed the problem:

So instead of directly using the DataSource i used a connection and released it.

Hibernate not creating tables with HSQL and Spring

anybody has idea why hibernate is not creating tables in my example ?

I have similiar project with almost the same configuration and everything seems to run just fine on the other project. Any ideas why it's not creating tables here?
I've one test enity in com.calculator.enity with #Entity #GeneratedValue annotations, i have it listed in persistence.xml file. There's also JpaRepository for this entity in com.calculator.repository

How to use Tomcat with Spring without context Loader

I searched for how to configure spring with tomcat I found that I have to put the following loader into context
