Apparently I need wls-api.jar to compile the following:
import weblogic.security.principal.WLSUserImpl;
I've downloaded and extracted wls1213_dev.zip and added weblogic-classes.jar, but the WLSUserImpl class seems to be elsewhere.
Where can I find wls-api.jar (or the right jar file)?

According to Oracle docs (https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1212/wls/WLPRG/overview.htm#WLPRG134):
The wls-api.jar file is located in the wlserver/server/lib directory
of your WebLogic Server distribution

Sorry to ask you these basic questions first but, did you look at this?
Which JAR contains the weblogic.servlet.security.ServletAuthentication class?
Did you also check the classpath to your server libs (and checked if
provided)?
If you are using Maven, do you have the following
<dependency>
<groupId>weblogic</groupId>
<artifactId>wls-api</artifactId>
<version>${weblogic.version}</version>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
Ref : Using maven as build tool for Weblogic 10.3
I don't mean to offend you by underlining these simple checks first but that would be the first things I would have done. Let me know. Thx

I am not sure where to ask this, but I will try it here: I searched half a day (that is: downloaded and searched thru its content) ALL the org.springframework.web.servlet jars from the very first release (2.5.6) till the latest one (3.2.2) but I am unable to find/locate one specific library that should be there called "CorsRegistry.java" (org.springframework.web.servlet.config.annotation.CorsRegistry).
This specific library is needed for the "Document Viewer Java Library" (beside quantum of many other jars).
Can anyone point me to the correct download location of the file that would include this specific library?
I can see this class in the latest spring-webmvc-5.3.19.jar
-> jar -tf spring-webmvc-5.3.19.jar | grep "CorsRegistry"
org/springframework/web/servlet/config/annotation/CorsRegistry.class

I am getting the error java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javassist.util.proxy.Proxy in my app. I am using javassist version 3.12.1.GA in my app, but it does not contain this class. Does anyone know where I can download a version of the javassist JAR that has the javassist.util.proxy.Proxy class?
Thanks in advance for the help.
javassist.util.proxy.Proxy is available in the version 3.16.1-GA of javassist,
which can be downloaded from here.
u can find depency jar in Apache Central Maven Repository ,Go into the site and type javaassist in search area then u`ll see the jar list.

Could anyone provide the old jdo plugin for Eclipse (must be the old, can not be the current DataNucleus). If someone does not have, but know where to find, please provide the link. Note: The site http://www.jpox.org which provided this plugin, but is now the Datanuclues, which does not have the plugin JPox.
I am trying to solve the problem below, if anyone has a solution, please answer.
Caused by: org.springframework.orm.jdo.JdoUsageException: The class "br.com.omd.ouvidoria.logica.domain.Ouvidoria" is not Persistence-Capable. This means that it either hasnt been enhanced, or that the enhanced version of the file is not in the CLASSPATH (or is hidden by an unenhanced version), or the Meta-Data for the class is not found.; nested exception is org.jpox.exceptions.ClassNotPersistenceCapableException: The class "br.com.omd.ouvidoria.logica.domain.Ouvidoria" is not Persistence-Capable. This means that it either hasnt been enhanced, or that the enhanced version of the file is not in the CLASSPATH (or is hidden by an unenhanced version), or the Meta-Data for the class is not found.
JPOX was open source, and its code still exists on SourceForge. "ide.eclipse" is the project you need.
https://sourceforge.net/p/jpox/code/HEAD/tree/tools/
But then its downloads are also still available on SourceForge.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/jpox/files/jpox-eclipse/
But then this, on its own, will not solve the problem you have there. You simply have not enhanced your classes. And the DataNucleus tools provide ways for you to enhance your classes, so no idea why you are even thinking of using something so out of date

I am trying to download hibernate [hopefully version 3] from http://www.hibernate.org/hibernate/downloads and for last two days I am getting either 404 or 500 from a proxy server some how. It appears that visiting above url spawns a prox server request to somewhere else. I have tried this from different IPs, from remote locations but this refuses to work.
On the other hand I downloaded the source from sourceforge and then tried to compile, which again did not worked for some other reason. I could not find compiled hibernate 3 on sourceforge.
So My question is : Is there some other reliable source of hibernate ?
Does the link work for you guys.
you may download jars in maven repository.
Here is the link:
http://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.hibernate/hibernate-core
I download my hibernate jar files from this address Here It has version 2,3 and 4.check it.
You can download hibernate from here. It is a download with dependencies. This is maybe better than the single core file: https://jar-download.com/explore-java-source-code.php?a=hibernate-core&g=org.hibernate&v=5.2.0.Final&downloadable=1

Does anyone know because all the places I've tried seem to timeout!
You can download JSTL 1.1 here and JSTL 1.2 here.
See also:
JSTL wiki page
http://jstl.java.net/download.html
It's been split into two separate JAR files: jstl-api.jar and jstl-impl.jar.
In the past, there was something like: https: //jstl.dev.java.net/download.html. But since a few days, there is something happening on dev.java.net.
Java.net will be modified, read this: http: //www.java.net/. So I think we have to wait. I also found: http: //java.net/projects/help/pages/RequestedProjects.
Maybe this is helpful.
Another option is to look into the maven repository: http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/javax/servlet/
http://archive.apache.org/dist/jakarta/taglibs/standard/binaries/
None of the mirrors work on the other page
You can downlod JSTL jar from this link
http://findjar.com/jar/javax/servlet/jstl/1.2/jstl-1.2.jar.html
If youre using Maven, here's something for your pom.xml file
<dependency>
<groupId>javax.servlet</groupId>
<artifactId>jstl</artifactId>
<version>1.2</version>
</dependency>
Visit Here to get your required jar files of JSTL.
and to get any of your required jar files visit HERE
