I got this error when I am running my application on glassfish4. I am new to hibernate and unfamiliar to it. Some time I got

In Hibernate 3.6, “org.hibernate.cfg.AnnotationConfiguration” is deprecated, and all its functionality has been moved to “org.hibernate.cfg.Configuration“.
So , you can safely replace your “AnnotationConfiguration” with “Configuration” class.

Deploy failure with NetBeans Java EE app with arbitrary code changes

I have been working on an app on Glassfish 4.1 for school and I have been encountering a bug which is causing my app to fail to deploy. It seems like changing arbitrary things in the code, such as adding a decorator or even just adding an innocuous System.out.println statement, will cause the deploy to fail with an error in Glassfish's log.

Thinking the problem came from my code, I tried to revert to an older version of my code wich I had no problem with, and the exact same error occurs. I also tried reinstalling Netbeans(8.0.2) and glassfish(4.1) and it changed nothing.
PS : This is a project started by another developper that I've been working on with no problems during the last 6 mounth. I'm now thinking the problem might come from a configuration error in netbeans or glassfish as i'm getting the same error with any previously working version of my code.

This error came from a lack of heapspace on the local server.
The real problem was not visible in the stackTrace because the managed bean "main" is instanciated during deployment : #ManagedBean(name = "main", eager = true)
Removing the eager=true parameter allowed me to see the underlying error.
