Exception while starting Spring boot with Embedded MongoDb

I am trying to use embedded mongo-db + springboot in my application.Below are the gradle dependencies added for the same

What can be done to fix it?

Spring Boot will only automatically start an embedded Mongo instance if you're using 1.3.0. It got resolved once I updated the mongoDb starter to 1.3.1.

You have NPE cause environment is not autowired. I don't know exact reason but you can do workaraound as follows (got from here):

UPD
There is another exception: ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.ibatis.cursor.Cursor because org.mybatis:mybatis-spring:jar:1.3.0 require org.mybatis:mybatis:jar:3.4.0, so upgrade org.mybatis:mybatis from 3.1.1 to 3.4.0. There will be one more exception Failed to parse expression 'isAuthenticated())' cause there is unnecessary right brace ) in 'isAuthenticated())' on SecurityConfiguration:49

Did you Add "#Service" tag start of your CurrentUserDetailsService class?

Start Spring Boot War in a tomcat instance

I have a functional Spring Boot Web App.
When i'm starting it from my Eclipse everything is fine (See #SpringBootApplication below)

Writing SubQuery in Hibernate

I wrote a query in HQL, however, it gave me an error. While investigating the error, I realized that Hibernate does not allow a subquery inside FROM.
I am new to writing queries and hence don't know how to convert the below mentioned query into a format that will be accepted by Hibernate.

You won't be able to translate the logic implemented with window functions to HQL / JPQL. Neither are these kinds of derived tables possible in HQL.
Stick with SQL and possibly use a native query to materialise the resulting entity:

Note, while the syntax that you're using to dereference nested records such as t.transactionId.versionId or t.transactionId.referenceId exists in some ORDBMS, I suspect that you've been trying to express relationship paths in HQL. You'll have to resort to classic SQL using JOIN in that case.

The exception was because of spring jpa. I removed spring-jpa dependency from pom.xml and it solved my problem. Thanks all for help and quick response.

I suspect the line that states:
spring.datasource.driverClassName=com.mongodb.Mongo
is wrong - this looks like a JDBC driver, but as MongoDB is a NoSQL database its driver doesn't conform to the same standards.
The spring documentation suggests the following properties for MongoDB:
spring.data.mongodb.host= # the db host
spring.data.mongodb.port=27017 # the connection port (defaults to 27107)
spring.data.mongodb.uri=mongodb://localhost/test # connection URL
spring.data.mongodb.database=

I removed the <version> tag in POM file, the problem fixed

I have added the following dependency
JDBC dependency
spring-jpa dependency
my issue was resolved when I removed both the dependency
