JERSEY Project Maven Configuration Problem with pom.xml

I have started learning REST web services and trying to configure my first maven jersey project. I have selected jersey-quickstart-webapp v.2.16. And my pom.xml file is

First line is showing the fallowing error
Could not initialize class org.apache.maven.plugin.war.util.WebappStructureSerializer
Is something wrong with my Maven project?

How to add spring boot actuator to WAR project

I have spring mvc application. I tried to convert it to spring boot by doing following steps.
Adding spring-boot-starter-parent parent pom
Adding relevant spring-boot-starter dependncy
Removing spring-mvc and other dependency.
Removed AbstractAnnotationConfigDispatcherServletInitializer class.
Added #ComponentScan, #EnableAutoConfiguration to root config class.
This was successful and I could see that application was working but when I added spring-boot-starter-actuator dependency and run mvn jetty:run . http://localhost:8080//actuator returns 404 response.
Can someone please tell me how I can add actuator in this case ?

mvn clean install intellij - compile error - can not find symbol

From Intellij Idea Using Build menu , projects compiles succesfully,
but when we compiling using "mvn clean install" command it fails. What can be reason for this?

I am unable to deploy a Rest application build with archtype jersey-quickstart-webapp Ver 1.19.1 on glassfish 4. The dialogue box pops up saying unable to deploy. I think this is because of error in POM.xml.

REST webservice 404 not found

When invoking a webservice deployed in a weblogic server I get a 404 - Not found error. Even after searching for similar questions in SO i wasn´t able to find a solution:

I tried a variety of different url patterns to try and invoke the service successfully but i keep getting the error 404.

I see you are using #Consumes(MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON) but reading the parameter using #PathParam and not from JSON format. Also I see #Produces(MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON) but the method return type is Response. Can you try removing these two annotations. And in case you need to handle JSON requests/responses you need to specify JSON library for encoding & decoding. Not sure if you have taken care of that already.
