I'm trying to create cluster between Wildfly 8.0.2 and Standalone JAR application. Both are using same Infinispan version (6.0.2) with Embedded mode. Cache configured with distributed mode. But while starting Wildfly and then starting Standalone Application, following error was thrown,

From log it clearly shows that, nodes can see each other. But i'm not sure why StreamCorruptedException shown. Because i've just started the applications and didnt try to put any objects in cache.
Kindly help to resolve the problem.
Thanks.

Any help would be appreciated.
Such errors are typically caused by having different versions of a library on the compile time and runtime classpath.
Application servers - such as JBoss - typically provide their own versions of the Hibernate libraries at runtime. This version is then most likely incompatible with the compile time version specified in your POM.
JBoss AS 6.4 only supports JPA spec 2. You can then either roll-back the compile time Hibernate version in your POM to be compatible with the runtime dependency supplied by JBoss or, if you really need JPA 2.1 features, tell JBoss you are bundling the Hibernate libraries with your app.
For the former approach, this document indicates EAP 6.4 supports Hibarnate 4.2.18.Final
https://access.redhat.com/articles/112673#EAP_6
<dependency>
<groupId>org.hibernate</groupId>
<artifactId>hibernate-entitymanager</artifactId>
<version>4.2.18.Final</version>
<!-- Don't bundle in the WAR as provided by the server -->
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
Check there are no hibernate libs in the deployed war (as a result of transitive dependencies for example).
For the latter approach see here:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/WFCORE-209?_sscc=t

How can I solve this?

I am attempting to register a Hibernate Session Factory from a persistence unit in a applications deployed to WildFly 8.2.1 and I am encountering a warning exception from the Hibernate 4 code (listed below). And when I look at JNDI in the WildFly console, the session factories are definitely not registered. I would like them to be in the "java:app" scope so that I can avoid naming collisions when more that one application might have the same session factory name.
Registering an entity manager to this scope works fine.
If I leave the "java:app" prefix off the session factory name it bind just fine into JNDI, but at a global scope. I understand that I can impose some sort of name-spacing, but I was hoping I would not have to.
Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.
Details below...

I may have found the answer...
Although it is not exactly the answer I wanted. But, it makes sense. The reason that Hibernate's JNDI binding robots cannot find the java:app subcontext is because, I think, it is attempting to find that name at the root and it does not exist there. JBoss/WildFly on the other have seems to have some implicit context when deploying the application and actually as the java:app existing under the applications/<module-name> inside the JNDI tree. Hibernate doesn't know anything about this structure.
I've modified my implementation is organize these session factory bindings by application name at the root of the JNDI tree like this:
hib > myApp > sessions > MY_SESSION_FACTORY
I hope this helps someone else out.
Good day. I have some difficulties using the Hazelcast in Glassfish OSGi environment.
I have an OSGi bundle, which provides some EJBs and intended to be deployed on glassfish. This bundle uses Hazelcast and imports some hazelcast packages. I don't want to embed hazelcast jar so I tried to deploy it in Glassfish prior to deploying the subj. bundle.
$ asadmin deploy --type=osgi minimal-json-0.9.1.jar
$ asadmin deploy --type=osgi hazelcast-3.3.3.jar
Hazelcast deployed successfully. But when I deploy my bundle, and when one of the EJBs from this bundle tries to create a HazelcastInstance, I get the following exception:
org.glassfish.osgijavaeebase.DeploymentException: Deployment of xxx.xxx.platon-cache [398] failed because of following reason: Failed while deploying bundle xxx.xxx.platon-cache [398] : java.lang.RuntimeException: Failed to deploy bundle [ xxx.xxx.platon-cache [398] ], root cause: Exception while loading the app

The hazelcast instance is created in the only place, so there shouldn't be any conflicts with some other hazelcast cluster. Everything works correctly in non-osgi environment.
The hazelcast config is the simpliest one:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<hazelcast xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.hazelcast.com/schema/config hazelcast-config-3.1.xsd" xmlns="http://www.hazelcast.com/schema/config" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
<group>
<name>dev</name>
<password>dev-pass</password>
</group>
<network>
<port auto-increment="true" port-count="100">5701</port>
<outbound-ports>
<ports>0</ports>
</outbound-ports>
<join>
<multicast enabled="false">
<multicast-group>224.2.2.3</multicast-group>
<multicast-port>54327</multicast-port>
</multicast>
<tcp-ip enabled="true">
<interface>127.0.0.1</interface>
</tcp-ip>
</join>
</network>
</hazelcast>
What is the reason of this exception?
it smells very much like this issue: https://github.com/hazelcast/hazelcast/issues/3922.
Can you please try it with the latest Hazelcast 3.3.4-SNAPSHOT? It should be fixed there.
EDIT: This workaround is not needed anymore; Latest releases of both 3.3 and 3.4 branches include this fix.
Hello I'm having hard time trying to configure weblogic for stateless bean (Spring). I'm new on that field.
I'm having 2-layer application. Server (weblogic + DB + java app) and client written in swing. When calling this line:
getCtx().lookup(SomeStatelessRemoteHome.class.getName()), SomeStatelessRemoteHome.class);
I got this error:

I would appreciate for some help with it.
FIXED:
I've added debug options on Weblogic:

-Dweblogic.debug.DebugConnection=true
-Dweblogic.StdoutDebugEnabled=true
-Dweblogic.log.LogSeverity=Debug
-Dweblogic.log.LoggerSeverity=Debug
One of jar file had wrong path. So it thrown "ClassNotFoundException". Debuging allowed me to find it... Simple mistakes are most annoying ones ;).
