I have a few questions about uploading a app to the Windows 10 store. My question is, I code in Eclipse and I created a program in JAVA, can I still upload it???
Also, if the answer to that is Yes, when I went to https://msdn.microsoft.com/library/windows/apps/hh694062.aspx on one of the requirements, it said, Required (at least one package).
I might sound like a noob, but IDK what that means.

You can't publish a Java app into windows 10 store, because .jar executables need Java so they are not compatible with the Windows store.

Two days ago I got close to finishing a java program that wrote, I wanted to let some friends play with it for a bit to find flaws etc. I created a runnable jar trough Eclipse and then I used Launch4j to transform the runnable jar into a .exe
It worked perfectly fine on my pc, but any other user couldn't open it. After a while I discovered that when people would install java JDK, it worked for about 40%, but this atleast pushed me in the direction of what the flaw is. Is there a way to (automaticly?) embed everything in the jar that my program is in need of? Or is there a way to determine what exactly it all is that people need for the .exe to run and what they are missing by running some pre-checks that can re-direct them to links where they can download this? I can't seem to find much on this subject, so I probably made a mis assumption somewhere, any help/clearance is appreciated!

How can I warn users that a new version of my program is available?
I'm planning on releasing my desktop app as a .jar file through github, and I'd like to do a simple check each time a user starts the app to check if a new version is available.
How can I do this?

Alongside your executable/jar file, you can have a simple text file (e.g. version.txt) that you can download and read. Have your program start with a launcher that compares that version to the local version, if not the same? Download, then run.
I just wonder something about java applet with awt. I quite disappointed with this problem and want to throw it away sometimes. Below are my descriptions:
I already created one application using java applet with awt controls on my own computer, let's say computerA using Window 7 32bit Operating System. To up and running this application, I update java version to the latest one.
Application is working fine with computerA. However, this application also need to run on the others as well. As my own situation, I run with another computer, let's say computerB using Window 7 64bits Operation System. I knew that the application created with 32bits java version, thus I decided to install this java version on computerB. However, when I run the application it can only display interface on browswer, but some of its function did not work.
Yet I didn't throw it away, I decided to configure in the last computer, let's say computerC. This computer use Window 8 32bits Operating System. I did configure as I did with computerA and computerB. The result is still exact as computerB.
I also checked up this solution on here, but it is not fit my problem.
Here are my questions:
What is the exact problem on here?
Where does the problem come from?
Is it solvable?
How can I solve this kind of problem? Any helps?

PostgreSQL Database also install in other local computers as well.
I noticed that If I convert my code into eclipse project, it worked fine. No problem at all.

I am trying to understand what exactly is going on when you install an application (APK) on an Android device. I guess that files are are extracted from the package and copied somewhere on the device.
Are there other steps going on? For example, is the package name of the application written somewhere in the OS like in somekind of registry?
Is the application version number written as well somewhere or the OS reads the xml manifest of the application to know its installed version?
This is related to another question where I suspect that some data was not erased correctly during the uninstallation of a debug app and I am trying to find what that might be.
There will be files/dirs created in various locations, not necessary in all possible locations for every app though, it depends on how the app is configured.

I have a long standing domino application that uses embedded views to display data. This application has been moved from a server 2003, 32 bit, domino 8.5 environment to a new server 2008 R2 64 bit domino 8.5.3 FP6 environment.
I have everything up and working as before with the exception of embedded views. They are giving a SecurityException "Missing required Permissions manifest attribute in main jar: http://*.com/domjava/nvapplet.jar".
I have confirmed that the actionbar.jar, editor.jar, nvapplet.jar, and outline.jar are the current version on the server. I have even replaced them with the version from the IBM download (http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21662233).
I can get this to work by displaying the view as HTML instead of Java Applet, but I don't understand what the issue is with the java version?

You may need to clear your browser cache if it still persists after that.
[update] The question now mentions that you installed Fixpack 6, installed the Jars then uninstalled Fixpack 6.
When you uninstall a fix pack, it reverts the files it touches back to what they were before the fix pack was installed. Although I have no details on it, it is quite likely that the updated security applets were also added to fix pack 6 (as it's the last fix pack for R8.5.3).
So during the uninstall the applets look the same as FP6 and it reverts them.
To solve this, after the revert you would need to drop in the updated applets again.
If the issue still persists at this point, you need to open the Java Console on your browser and update your question with the logs it generates (as it pertains to the error).
Turns out this situation may have been a little unique, but I will post it here for future reference in case anyone else runs into this. The server was a fresh build of windows and domino all the way up to 8.5.3 FP6. The FP6 installer date stamps the jars in question with the install date of the system. So in my case I had people come to the site, download the jar with a file date newer than 1/17/2014, which is the date of the files IBM put in the fix mentioned above. Those files are a simple flat copy so they always maintain the 1/17/2014 date. Anyway, any user that came and picked up the newer date files 3/1/2014 for example would keep those files or rev date in their local java machine cache and ignore the 1/17/2014 file I had replaced them with, thus they continued to show the problem. Only by manually clearing their cache from the java were they able to pick up the 1/17/2014 file and no longer have the issue.
Actually from what I was told via IBM FP 6, does not include the fixed .jars. That was my main problem assuming it did.
