I try to make a button active fragment, leading to a new layout with the url of this fragment. But it is not working. Something wrong. Please help

You are trying to find a reference to a Button before the fragment's view hierarchy is inflated. The fragment transaction you're using does not immediately create the view hierarchy after commit() is called. This means the view with id bTextUrl is not yet created and findViewById() returns null.
Also, it's kind of strange for an activity to be messing with the views of child fragments. I recommend that you modify the views of the fragment within the fragment itself (not within the containing activity like you're doing now).

So, what I'm doing on the code above is adding a touch listener, so when the user swipe from right to left, the fragment goes to the other fragment (Fragment2)
This works perfectly fine! However... I need to add onClickListener inside my recyclerAdapter, so I can catch the click listener of each item. And here comes the problem... When adding a click listener, the swipe listener does not work. It seems that the listener of the click "overrides" my listener of the swipe. The question is. How to add both on the recyclerview, and make them work together?
I have a Android fragment containing a ListView, and I have attached an ArrayAdapter to the ListView, but when I insert items into the ArrayAdapter, the ListView only shows the first item.
onCreateView iterates over my Technologies, if they're unlocked, it adds them to the ArrayList shownTechs, but only the first item ever appears

I have just realized that this fragment is not filling the parent height, and is only tall enough to show the one entry, as if the fragment height were wrap_content. (I can't scroll it, so it appears as if there's only the one). This makes me think the nesting of fragments may be related, so here's the code that creates the fragment:

Putting the Fragment inside the ScrollView was the source of the problem. Simply replaced those with FrameLayout, and suddenly everything magically works. Very strange.
I suspect the problem has something to do with nesting scrollable objects.

In this class I am getting an error at the line:

Yes. First of all you do have to change the ID of your ListView like so:

In your onCreateView you can reference the ID by android.R.id.list. This is because Android built-in resource reside in android.R. You can also find there drawables, styles, etc. (you can call them in a similar maneer).
Taking the above into consideration, your onCreateView method should look like this :

In onCreateView() you need to provide a layout that has a ListView with and id of #android:id/list.
ListFragment provides some helper methods (e.g setListAdapter()) that require the layout to have a ListView with that id so it can reference it and set the adapter for you.

There are two ways you can add a fragment to the activity layout:
Declare the fragment inside the activity's layout file.
Programmatically add the fragment to an existing ViewGroup.

If you want add the fragment to a container you need to use a ViewGroup in xml. Generally FrameLayout is used. So have the below in xml

The Activity code is fine. On Button click you replace the appropriate fragment in the container.
In your Fragment onCreateView you inflate the fragment layout and use the view object to initialize views of that layout. But you inflate activity_main.xml which is not required.
Quoting docs
Specifically, the fragment can access the Activity instance with
getActivity() and easily perform tasks such as find a view in the
activity layout
So for EditText you can use

Or Initialize EditText in Activity on Button click get the value from EditTextand then you can pass the value of EditText from Activity to Fragment

On ft.add() the int parameter refers to the container to which you want to add the Fragment; you are trying to add the Fragment to the Fragment's own layout (Android doesn't find the View because it is not inflated yet, if it did it will throw and Exception in this case; you cannot add a Fragment to its own layout). You want to replace R.id.fragmentVideo with R.id.activityStart to add the Fragment to the current TableLayout that is part of the already inflated main_activity layout
Could you check whats the equivalent view for the id '0x7f090005' in the R.java file. It should be under gen folder of your project. The framework is not able to find this under the resource file that you have in this java class.
