Connecting JIRA from Java Service - java

I'm trying to make a connection to JIRA from Java Service using the JIRA REST Java Client. I am following the following tutorial: https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/wiki/display/JRJC/Tutorial
I am trying to run the given example Example1.java, but it gives me the following errors:
JerseyJiraRestClientFactory cannot be resolved to a type
JiraRestClient cannot be resolved to a type
NullProgressMonitor cannot be resolved to a type
Issue cannot be resolved to a type
FieldInput cannot be resolved to a type
TransitionInput cannot be resolved to a type
This is my pom.xml:

Please tell me what more to add to get rid of these errors.

"Cannot be resolved to a type" usually smells like your project has not been correctly built. Hence the correct libs have not been downloaded by maven and your IDE doesn't recognize those classes.
Usually a
mvn clean package
should do the trick.
However, the tutorial on ecosystem.atlassian.net is quite outdated, especially in terms of the pom dependencies.
You can take a look at some sample code I wrote to access the Jira Rest API using the JRJC here: https://github.com/somaiah/jrjc
Once you download my code, change the url, username, password and issue id number and the code should work.

The end goal for using MockMultiPartFile is to convert the path of a file from a command line argument into a multipart file. But I am unable to add this package to my project as of now.
I want to know what other items I need to add to the pom file in order to use this package in my project. Thank you.
You have a mess in your Spring Framework dependencies. Remove the specific <version> tags and let spring-boot-starter-parent mange the dependencies:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-webmvc</artifactId>
<version>3.0.5.RELEASE</version>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-web</artifactId>
<version>4.1.6.RELEASE</version>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-test</artifactId>
</dependency>
You are trying to use Spring Framework 3.X, 4.X, 5.X (from Spring Boot 2.X) components at the same time, these are not compatible!
Most likely one of the 3.X dependencies is downgrading spring-test to version which doesn't have package org.springframework.mock.web. You can confirm this by inspecting mvn dependency:tree.

What is the meaning of "The package is inside a non-bundle dependency" warning in a Maven project?

I encountered the warning when I imported my Maven project in IntelliJ:
The package 'org.xml.sax' is inside a non-bundle dependency
There are, in fact, 3 packages causing this: org.xml.sax, javax.servlet, and javax.xml.parsers. I have checked pom.xml and these packages weren't there except for javax.servlet.
Do I need to add the missing packages to the pom.xml? The program works but it would be better to get rid of this warning. I would also like to know if there are any expected problems when this warning is present.
This is the project's pom.xml
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

This is a slightly edited version of my parent pom for a multi-module project; hopefully I didn't screw up anything when I edited it.

Java WEB project warnings

After starting glassfish server i get this warnings:
Warning: Class 'javax.ejb.PostActivate' not found, interception based on it is not enabled
Warning: Class 'javax.ejb.PrePassivate' not found, interception based on it is not enabled
What can be the reason of this warnings ? How can i get rid of them ?
UPD1.
It appears that NetBeans is putting a bunch of jersey jars into the
WEB-INF/lib directory of the application when it is built. These jars
should not be placed in WEB-INF/lib
So it might be, because some jars not should be placed in WEB-INF/lib
Here what i have:
UPD2.
If you use Netbeans 7.4 and use the "new Java web application" wizard
and just click through the defaults except be sure to check the box to
include "contexts and dependency injection", then run it on GlassFish
4 and you'll get the warning.
:(
UPD3.
Someone saying here that
The following warning messages should be ignored, they are 'false-positive' alert messages
UPD4.

The reason: Classes javax.ejb.PostActivate and javax.ejb.PrePassivate were not found. You are missing a dependency.
Add this dependency to your pom.xml:
<dependency>
<groupId>javax.ejb</groupId>
<artifactId>javax.ejb-api</artifactId>
<version>3.2</version>
</dependency>

I tried a lot of different things from different version to connect the jar direct with the build path.
Make sure that you have the correct repository setup for the scannotation library.
According to mavenhub.com this should be declared either in your pom.xml or in your settings.xml:
<repository>
<id>thirdparty-releases</id>
<name>JBoss Thirdparty Releases</name>
<url>https://repository.jboss.org/nexus/content/repositories/thirdparty-releases</url>
</repository>
