I am working on Spring MVC + Salesforce Integration from the link : https://github.com/jottley/spring-social-salesforce . I haven't done any customization changes yet, but seeing below error during compilation. What's the issue ?

Building in maven with scope as 'provided' in a dependency

I have a pom file with several dependencies. One of the dependencies causing error is as follows:

MojoExecutionException when building Geoserver with maven

I am trying to build GeoServer from source code. I got the following error when attempting to run a maven command from 'geoserver/src'.

I tried to solve it with setting a proxy but failed. Anyone can help me out?Thanks in advance.

The reason of this trouble is that I are using a shallow clone of geoserver. Clone the entire repository will solve this issue.

SonarQube 5.1 analysis fail with StackOverflowError

I recently upgraded to the newest SonarQube 5.1, but now, my maven builds have begun failing and I'm unable to determine what file is causing the error. The maven project is a multi module project.

Any ideas for debugging the cause of the error? I've attempted with -debug flag.

Problem solved.
I ended up setting up a local instance and running the maven plugin using a debugger, this allowed me to set a breakpoint at the exception. I turned out that we had a test case (file) which had a field defined by hundreds of Strings. This file has not been edited for a long time, so I guess the overall stack size has changed from 4.x to 5.x. The test was ugly and my solution in this case was therefore to refactor it. I guess another solution would be to increase the java stack size, but I've not tried it.

How to avoid nullpointer exception on compiling pl/java?

I'm trying to build pljava sources on Linux Mint 17 Qiana (32bit) with maven 3.2.5, JDK 1.7.0_72-b14, gpp is installed (2.24) and all modules are compiled fine except one: pl/java server side library.

In my case (Debian) this problem has been solved by installing the g++ package.
I have found this workaround here.
