Verify Google App Engine Domain for Push Notifications - java

I am currently trying to get push notifications from Google working to my domain in Google App Engine. I use this guide: https://developers.google.com/drive/v3/web/push
The guide says that I should verify my domain to ensure that I own it. This should be done by uploading a html file to my app engine. Should this be needed if the domain is contained in Google App Engine?
What would be a convenient way to achieve this? Can I upload the html in a simple way? Right now I am just using the Google App Engine to host a Java servlet that exposes REST services.

Converting to a Java Facebook application, from a Google App Engine application written in Java

I have created a web application hosted on Google App Engine (Java). Now my client wants a Facebook application of it. All I need to ask is: Is it possible?
The problem is that all I see is the Python version of Google App Engine for Facebook development, so is it possible to **build a Facebook application (Java) with my application hosted on Google App Engine (Java platform).
You can create a Facebook application that is IFrame based. This way Facebook will host your application inside an IFrame.

linking android application with google app engine datastore

i am looking for a link through a web service between an android application and an application that is deployed on google app engine.the user inputs data in the android application which has to be passed to the jsp and jpa application deployed on the google app engine. Can anyone please help...
See this article for how to authenticate against App Engine from inside your Android app. From there, how you interface is up to you: You can write a RESTful API, or use any number of HTTP-based RPC protocols to communicate between the Android app and the site. Which you choose depends on your needs, which you haven't detailed.

invoking facebook api(php) using java program hosted in google app engine

I created a Facebook API using PHP and MySQL and hosted it on a domain. Now I would like to host it on Google App Engine, however, Google App Engine does not support PHP. I would like to learn how to write a Java application that can invoke Facebook's API through HTTP and host the Java application on Google App Engine.
If you have any advice or links on how I can accomplish this, it would be a big help.
FYI GAE does support PHP Now: https://developers.google.com/appengine/docs/php/gettingstarted/introduction
