Print JavaRDD on IDE console with Spark cluster deployed on remote machine - java

I Have a spark (1.6.2) standalone cluster deployed on a remote machine (1 master and 1 worker). I am connecting to this cluster using Java from IntelliJIdea on local machine. Find below java code for the same -
SparkConf conf = new SparkConf().setAppName("localApp").
setMaster("spark://remoteHostMaster_1:7077").
set("spark.ui.port","7077");
JavaSparkContext sc = new JavaSparkContext(conf);
Spark monitoring UI is launching fine at http://remoteHostMaster_1:8080/ and is displaying details of worker node.
I write a simple map-reduce and print JavaRDD on console.
If I use setMaster("local[x]") in SparkConf Object, everything works fine (console printing and file writing of JavaRDD).
Issue is whenever I print JavaRDD or write JavaRDD to a file, I am getting below exception -
Exception in thread "main" org.apache.spark.SparkException: Job aborted due to stage failure: Task 0 in stage 0.0 failed 4 times, most recent failure: Lost task 0.3 in stage 0.0 (TID 6, remoteHostWorker_1): java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.til.socialData.SocialGraphDataSpark$1

Exception running application minimalist.DoubleSliderInterface
I am using ControlsFX version 9.0.0 while running Java 10 on Eclipse, however, I believe I can rule out incompatibility with the Java version as I also tried running this on Java 9.0.4 and as well was able to successfully run the Rating class.
My code is just a number of instances of the following, succeeded by a VBox to contain them, a group, and the scene and stage as is normal-
final RangeSlider blur = new RangeSlider(0,30,0,30);
Text blurTitle = new Text("Blur");
Text blurMin = new Text();
blurMin.textProperty().bindBidirectional(blur.lowValueProperty(),converter);
Text blurMax = new Text();
blurMax.textProperty().bindBidirectional(blur.highValueProperty(),converter);
HBox blurBox = new HBox();
blurBox.getChildren().addAll(blurMin,blur,blurMax);
blurBox.setPadding(new Insets(5));
blurBox.setSpacing(10);
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
Adding --add-exports=javafx.controls/com.sun.javafx.scene.control.inputmap=ALL-UNNAMED to your VM arguments when running the application will resolve the issue. Answer thanks to #kleopatra
There is already a bug report on their bitbucket page. It looks like it's just not compatible with java9+
https://bitbucket.org/controlsfx/controlsfx/issues/802/rangeslider-uses-inaccessable-package
I didn't read the code of this specific control but you might be able to copy the code you need and remove the part that uses the InputMap related classes.
Other than that you are probably better off downgrading to java8 or using another ui element to mimic similar behavior.

The AbstractWebSocketProcessor class tries to broadcast a message to notify listeners that the websocket closes.
In doing this, it tries to load a wicket page. That page contains multiple autowired fields and it needs to be deserialized, but that's where the classnotfoundexception of the proxy class occurs.
I suspect this issue to be the cause of a thread leak, but I can not reproduce the error consistently.
How could this error occur?

Anthill remoting API ClassDefNotFound error

I am trying to automate BUILDS with anthill3 using remoting API but am getting an error when i try to get the Workflows from a project.
It seems the jar commons-graph.jar which is required to run this is not provided in anthill3-devkit.
As per the below link it says to download the JAr from anthill 5 , but i get an error when i try to download any fixes or release of anthill5 .
So if anybody has a resolution or the required JAR it will be very helpfull.

From your question its hard to understand why you are getting the error and why you might need JAR from a newer version of Anthill. From what I know, even sending you the JAR won't do the job because of the different versions. Please try to explain what is exactly you try and maybe we can find another way of doing it without using upper version
Anyway how can I send it to you ? E-mail ?
Thanks,
Elyahu

Configuring Jasper Reports on Sugar CRM

I am using Sugar CRM version 6.5.16 and I installed the Zucker Reports module in order to generate reports. The demo reports that came with the Zucker Reports package had been generating reports without any issues (i.e the 'Opportunities' report) and so I have started to create my own custom reports to use within the application using iReports 5.6.0.
I developed a report using the same database as what my CRM application uses and the data was being displayed as I wanted and have therefore I've been trying to deploy the report onto the CRM application to use within the web page. After deploying I was getting the following error whn attempting to run the report.

After reading http://techs.studyhorror.com/sugarcrm-how-install-zucker-reports-i-56 I thought the issue could be down to jar files so I moved all the Jasper jar files the report was using within the iReports application into the CRM application.
and this change was promising as it gave me a different error message:

CouldNotLoadArgumentException is thrown in JWS client

I am trying to start a JWS application:
It throws CouldNotLoadArgumentException in Windows 8.
But if I try the same thing in other computer running Windows 7 it works just fine.
I have found couple of similar post in stack overflow and applied those suggestion:
Removed all property fields from JNLP file.
Cleared the temp files and browser cache.
But still it failed.
