PBE AlgorithmParameters not available - java

I have a problem i try to authenticate with google api using ouath2 with generated .p12 key.
The issuse is that when the google credential api tries to set .p12 key it throws
java.io.IOException: parseAlgParameters failed: PBE AlgorithmParameters not available.
My machine run Windows 10 Home 64bit creators update and i have jdk 1.6 installed.
I tried launching project from netbeans and intellij idea the issuse is the same on both. My co-workers launch project from linux and everything works. I also tried to set jce policies to unlimited.
Here is a stack trace dump

I added Bouncy Castle Provider to java.secuirty file and bouncy castle jars to jdk. And everything works as expected. The jvm simply didn't have the provider for algorithm used to decrypt key.

Upgrade from SpringBoot 2.4.2 to 2.7.0 - SSL issue - Server not coming up - Multiple certificates specified, missing required attribute

Our SpringBoot application is SSL enabled and everything was working as expected with SpringBoot 2.4.2 (which uses Tomcat 9.0.41). Our application uses embedded Tomcat server.
We recently upgraded to SpringBoot 2.7.0 (which uses Tomcat 9.0.63) and with SSL enabled the server never comes up.
The exception seems similar to the one mentioned here: https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=62803
Our application.properties file:
server.ssl.key-store-provider=SUN server.ssl.protocol=TLS
server.ssl.key-password=<PASSWORD>
server.ssl.key-store-password=<PASSWORD> server.ssl.enabled=true
server.ssl.key-alias=<ALIAS> server.port=<PORT>
server.ssl.key-store-type=jks server.ssl.key-store=<CERTIFICATE FILE PATH>
We see below exception during startup:

I have tried forcing the Tomcat version to be 9.0.41 and also 9.0.65 with SpringBoot 2.7.0 in the POM file and still I am noticing the same issue.
Any help on how to I resolve this issue? Thanks in advance!
I was able to resolve the issue.
We have a custom connector implemented for decrypting the keystore and key passwords from the application.properties file. This implementation is very similar to how it has been shown in this link: https://frugalisminds.com/how-to-configure-ssl-in-spring-boot-2/
However, trying to set the properties/attributes on the new custom connector was causing this issue:
connector.setAttribute("keyAlias", <alias>);
connector.setAttribute("keystorePass", <password>);
connector.setAttribute("keystoreFile", <file>);
So, instead of adding custom connector and setting the values, I am modifying the default connector itself as below:
public void customize(TomcatServletWebServerFactory factory) {
if (Boolean.valueOf(sslEnabled)) {
// Force the passwords in the default connector to be updated with decrypted passwords
factory.getSsl().setKeyPassword(<key-password>);
factory.getSsl().setKeyStorePassword(<keystore-password>);
}
}
Hope this help, thanks!

SSL exception during consuming web service in weblogic 12c with CXF generated client

I've got a CXF 2.7.18-enabled SOAP WebService client in Weblogic 12.1.3.0.3.
There is an SSL check during WebService Proxy Client creation and it passes.
But during an actual method call I get an SSL exception (below).
If I add properties with Weblogic trustStore path explicitly/programmatically or into cxf.xml trustManager tag, everything works, so it looks like CXF service does not use some Weblogic's API with filled certificates during the actual call.
set JAVA_OPTIONS=%JAVA_OPTIONS% -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore=C:\<...>\wlserver\server\lib\DemoTrust.jks -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword=DemoTrustKeyStorePassPhrase
#Rem -Djavax.net.ssl.keyStore=C:\<...>\wlserver\server\lib\DemoTrust.jks -Djavax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword=DemoTrustKeyStorePassPhrase
This is my cxf.xml file.
When I uncomment custom trust manager pointing at my weblogic DemoTrust.jks messages get sent, otherwise I get an exception.
<http-conf:conduit name="*.http-conduit">
<http-conf:client Connection="Keep-Alive"
ConnectionTimeout="300000"
ReceiveTimeout="10800000"
CacheControl="no-cache"/>
<http-conf:tlsClientParameters disableCNCheck="true" >
<!--<sec:trustManagers >
<sec:keyStore type="JKS" password="DemoTrustKeyStorePassPhrase"
file="C:\...\wlserver\server\lib\DemoTrust.jks"/>
</sec:trustManagers>-->
</http-conf:tlsClientParameters>
</http-conf:conduit>
I've also tried with useHttpsURLConnectionDefaultSslSocketFactory="true" but to no avail.
I've also tried to play with Weblogic server SSL options.
Also I've looked at things like this, I was unable to figure out how to use it in Weblogic:
How to set up Apache CXF client to use WebSphere truststore? (Receiving "No trusted certificate found" exception.)
This is my weblogic-application.xml:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<weblogic-application
xmlns="http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/weblogic-application" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/weblogic-application http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/weblogic-application/1.0/weblogic-application.xsd">

<package-name>javax.wsdl.*</package-name>
<package-name>org.apache.cxf.*</package-name>
</prefer-application-packages>-->
</weblogic-application>
And this is an exception itself:

Please provide any ideas/help, would be much appreciated.
You need to import the certificate in JDK security. Follow below 2 step and get done.
Step-1 Goto Below java security directory
/path/to/java/jdk/jre/lib/security
Step-2 Run below command
keytool -import -keystore cacerts -file /path/to/your/cert.cer

I am totally new to these concepts and don't know what the problem is..! if the error is there then it should show in eclipse while debugging..but in my localhost is is working fine but not when I am deploying the war file of this project in USA server...
In EJB if any of the method which is continuing a Transaction if throws a RunTimeException (like NPE) then it cause the transaction to Roll Back and in Trace you will be shown TransactionRollBackException.
If you will check your log in detail in the exception trace you will find a Caused by tag where your actual exception will be printed.
Resolve that Exception as per your code and this will work fine.

seems as though the mysql driver jar is not on the classpath.
Have you confirmed you have installed the mysql jdbc jar file and it is referenced on the classpath?
http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/j/3.1.html
It is clear that driver class is not in your class path
add this jar in your classpath
Here is how to add jar in classpath in Netbeans:
Select your Project -> Right Click -> Properties -> Libraries -> add jar -> select jar -> ok

Problem with NetBeans Web Service Client when xercesImpl.jar is on classpath

I am unable to create a Web Service Client in my NetBeans Web Application when xercesImpl.jar is included as a library.
Using NetBeans 6.9 and GlassFish 3.0.1:
1.) Create new Web Application
2.) Create a new Web Service
3.) Add a new operation to the created web service (just let it return null - the implementation isn't important)
4.) Deploy web service to GlassFish (works fine)
5.) Add xercesImpl.jar (I'm using version 2.9.1) as a library to the web service (I need xerces for a third-party library that I'm using)
6.) Stop Glassfish.
7.) Clean and Build the project.
8.) Run the project. Test that the Web Service still works (it does).
9.) Create a new Web Service Client. Point it at a WSDL (I'm using http://www.webservicex.com/CurrencyConvertor.asmx?wsdl just as a test).
10.) Stop Glassfish.
11.) Clean and Build the project.
Error message is shown:
C:\NetBeansProjects\WSTest\nbproject\jaxws-build.xml:43:
Error starting wsimport: BUILD FAILED
(total time: 1 second)
Line 43 is:

12.) Restart NetBeans.
13.) Clean and Build the project. (The build now works)
14.) Run the project. GlassFish starts up fine except for this one-line error message:

15.) Loading the Web Service Tester page produces the following exception in the GlassFish log:

Any ideas on what I can do to fix this? Note that it only happens after I create a new Web Service Client/Reference. Even if someone could suggest which project I should be creating a bug against (i.e. is it a NetBeans fault? A Glassfish fault? A JAX-WS fault? etc.), that would be good.
Well I've finally found a solution:
http://forums.java.net/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=59445
What I needed to do was to remove these files from the xercesImpl.jar file:
META-INF/services/javax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilderFactory
META-INF/services/javax.xml.parsers.SAXParserFactory
When the modified JAR file is included in my project it no longer causes any issues.
If anyone has a neater solution, please let me know.
I found the solution for my problem which is similar with yours.
I added inside my jar the following file:
META-INF/services/org.apache.xerces.xni.parser.XMLParserConfiguration
The content of this file is just :
org.apache.xerces.parsers.XML11Configuration
Regards.
