Eclipse Neon Javadoc help does not work - java

I have an issue with Eclipse Neon where the Javadoc has suddenly stopped working.
Running Lubuntu OS, w Eclipse Neon.3,

Reeeeeally late reply but the problem was that the Linux window manager was using an invalid window configuration hence all popup windows in SWT(Eclipse GUI engine) was crashing. Changed theme in Linux to default and was fine.

I would like to port my Eclipse RCP application from 3.x to 4.x.

Upon executing the application it throws an IllegalArgumentException when loading the PerspectiveSwitcherToolbar.

The problem specified is that the PerspectiveSwitcherToolbar should extend WorkbenchWindowControlContribution. Currently it extends ContributionItem which works fine in RCP 3.
I've tried changing the PerspectiveSwitcherToolbar to make it extend WorkbenchWindowControlContribution but the createControl method isn't called at the very start which is needed.
What are some possible solutions to this?

Ok, the error was being generated, due to the gradle plugin being 2.0, gluon released a document stating this. I uninstalled Plugin 2.x and installed 1.x, solved the problem. Soon after, I did an update of it, and it kept working. Thank you very much to everyone. This error occurs in Oxygem 1.A
Eclipse gluon new project does not finish

ClassNotFoundException when starting E4 application

I have an Eclipse E4 application. When I run the application I got and ClassNotFoundException on start of the app. The gui of the app does show up and it work. How can I fix the below error when starting the application?
When I export the application to a (Windows) binary files it does compile and run without any issues. But in Eclipse it does thrown an error.
It looks like it has something to do with my Eclipse IDE plugin "Darkest Dark theme". I don't use any Darkest dark theme features in my own application. So I don't need any features of it in my own application.

You are including an unwanted plug-in in your run.
For a Run Configuration you should look at the 'Plug-ins' tab of the configuration. Change the 'Launch From' setting from 'app workspace and enabled target plug-ins' to 'plug-ins selected below only'. This will show you a list of all available plug-ins. Deselect the ones you don't want to include in the run.
If you are not using a separate Target Platform you might want to switch using one. Using a separate Target Platform gives you better control over which plug-ins are include in your RCP.

As you're trying to setup a Robotframework IDE in Eclipse, I wondered if you have tried RED which is developed by Nokia.
In my mind its has more features (debug line-by-line), syntax highligting, code completion & custom run parameters and it still under active development. NitorCreation hasn't updated the repository since October 2015.
