It depends on the device's android version. If it's 10 or lower than that, then you can simply save the file path in the Sharedpreference so you can access it later and load the image from there (You can do it in android 10 with requestLegacyExternalStorage of course or you can go with the 2nd option which I provided below).
But, if you're writing the code for android 11 or higher, then there are only three standard ways to do it.
1. Using SAF (Storage Access Framework) :-
You can get the storage access permission of that perticular folder everytime you pick an image from there. But this is not the best option when your app is doing it multiple times. (what if it's photo editor app or social media or something like that?!)
2. Manage all files permission :-
You can go with the All files access permission but it's also too much for the small task and you also have to give clarification to google play when your app has that permission. So it's also the very last option.
3. Accessing from internal app directories - THE BEST WAY! :-
You can go with this option with almost every app!
All you have to do is just take read storage permission, access the file using file descriptor, write it to the internal app directory (it can be either external files directory or cache directory), then you'll have a lifetime access of the image. You can save the path to Sharedpreference and access it anytime.
If you want to save edited image to the gallery then it will also be easy because you already have both read and write permission to that image saved in internal app directory.
That's it. I know the answer is lengthy but it's worth it. :)

The code for writing looks fine, so I think the problem may be elsewhere.
If you created the Firebase console after you downloaded the google-services.json file, that file will not contain the correct URL, and the SDK may not be able to find your database on the server.
To solve that problem, you can either:
Download an updated google-services.json and use that in your app, or
Provide the database URL in your code with FirebaseDatabase database = FirebaseDatabase.getInstance("database URL here");
My code works this morning, but I did nothing except go to bed. As shown in the picture, the second step has changed. I clicked that Add the Realtime Database SDK to your app button thousands of times, and it was still a button. Surprisingly, it has changed to a checked state.
I did the google-services.json part as #FrankvanPuffelen said yesterday, but it didn't work.
I have restarted the Android Studio a lot of times and didn't work.
Maybe I should try close the computer lid next time.
But now I know that one should have the second step checked rather than keep it as a unchecked button.
I am trying to get the modified content after the given time from google sheets. Nowhere I can found the api to get the data. What i can see is getting modified date alone from the drive Api. How can I get the data using Drive or Sheets Api? Give me the suggestions if Possible
Google Drive keeps a track of revision history of files that are contained on it. There is however, no way to obtain the revisions from a request alone.
Google allows for you to receive email notifications whenever a user makes an edit to your sheet, which you can set up by completing the following steps:
In the Spreadsheet's web view, click Tools -> Notification rules...
Under Notify me at myemail#address.ext when... select Any changes are made
Under Notify me with... select Email - right away
Click Save.
You should also be aware that you will not get a notification for edits made to the sheet by you - notifications are only received when another user edits the sheet. Whenever you get an email notification, you will receive a link to view the changes to the spreadsheet in the form of a read-only web view link.
You can work around this programatically, though there isn't one right way and it can be quite complicated. You can use the Revisions: list method of the Drive REST API to get the information about the user that made an edit, as well as a list of links which you can use to export that revision of the sheet to another MIME Type, as shown below in the request response.

With the links to individual changes, you can fetch and compare the different versions of the Sheet using Apps Script, and output A1 notation of the cells that have different values between versions. This, with the email address from the original Revisions: list request, is enough to compile a file or a log containing.
You can put this into a simple onEdit() trigger bound to the sheet will allow you to automatically get the changes each time a user edits the sheet.

There is no means of having ACTION_IMAGE_CAPTURE give you a "fullsize Bitmap" directly. You can either get a thumbnail-sized Bitmap or have it write a full-sized photo to a location of your choice.

No. However, there is nothing stopping you from opening the photo via its file in your activity, then modifying that photo and writing it back out. You could overwrite the original file, or you could write to some new location.
So, for example, if your concern is that you do not want the photo to be in a user-accessible location until your activity is done with it, you could pass a Uri to ACTION_IMAGE_CAPTURE that points to a private location in getCacheDir(), then have your activity write the final version of the photo to a file on external storage.
I'm currently using the Graph API Explorer to make some tests. That's a good tool.

As described in this bug on Facebook, you can also request specific image sizes now via the new API "field expansion" syntax.
Like so:

The best way to get all friends (who are using the App too, of course) with correct picture sizes is to use field expansion, either with one of the size tags (square, small, normal, large):

Btw, you can also write it like this:

I don't know of any solution for multiple images at once.
I got this error when I made a request with picture.type(full_picture):
"(#100) For field 'picture': type must be one of the following

When I make the request with picture.type(album) and picture.type(square), responses me with an image 50x50 pixel size.
When I make the request with picture.type(large), responses me with an image 200x200 pixel size.
When I make the request with picture.width(800), responses me with an image 477x477 pixel size.

with picture.width(50), responses 50x50.
with picture.width(100), responses 100x100.
with picture.width(150), responses 160x160.
I think that facebook gives the images which resized variously when the user first add that photo.
What I see here the API for requesting user Image does not support
resizing the image requested. It gives the nearest size of image, I think.
In pictures URL found in the Graph responses (the "http://photos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/" ones), just replace the default "_s.jpg" by "_n.jpg" (? normal size) or "_b.jpg" (? big size) or "_t.jpg" (thumbnail).

I think that as of now the only way to get large pictures of friends is to use FQL. First, you need to fetch a list of friends:
