How to fix the error org.springframework.web.client.HttpClientErrorException: 400 null, when using RestTemplate to access Microservice

In my java code, I am trying to access a microservice using RestTemplate as the following:

entity = new HttpEntity<BigDecimal>(c.getDocumentId(),headers);

On the server side, I have this:

How to fix the error? Thanks.

It turned out that the value null of some document ids causes the problem. Perhaps, because #RequestBody does not accept a null value.
Here's the update to fix the problem:

I am trying to test a POST api using RestTemplate as the client but I am continuously getting an exception.
I have tried a lot of different solutions but I continue to get this exception.

ModelAttribute
Annotation that binds a method parameter or method return value to a named model attribute, exposed to a web view. Supported for controller classes with #RequestMapping methods.
Can be used to expose command objects to a web view, using specific attribute names, through annotating corresponding parameters of an #RequestMapping method.
RequestBody
Annotation indicating a method parameter should be bound to the body of the web request. The body of the request is passed through an HttpMessageConverter to resolve the method argument depending on the content type of the request. Optionally, automatic validation can be applied by annotating the argument with #Valid.

Your API(getAccessToken) method use #RequestBody.
Check values in newEmployee.
Request content type default setting application/json in postForObject.
Search multiValueMap or defaultMessageConverter.

When you are using #ModelAttribute as controller param, then you need to send your data as application/x-www-form-urlencoded something like this:

Form Data Is Not Getting Validated Even If ExceptionHandler Is Defied

I'm implementing validation logic to the application. I have declared a class for custom validation logic. My class extends ResponseEntityExceptionHandler and overrides one method (handleMethodArgumentNotValid) to support #Valid and validate form data and I have some other methods for other exception propagation.
The problem I'm getting all custom exception is propagating to POSTMAN as JSON format but when I'm entering form data with wrong info it's ending with a java error and the overridden method is not getting called.
But I'm getting 200 as response and a blank data response not the validation error messages.
I have tried adding #Validated annotation along with #Valid annotation but it also didn't work.
I have added hibernate related validation annotation like #NotBlank(message=""), #NotNull(message="") in the pojo classes.
Though I'm getting the exception with the same message that I have provided in eclipse console but I'm not getting the desired response with the error messages in the postman.
Whenever I'm sending request from POSTMAN with incorrect form data and though #Valid annotation is there it should directly call the appropriate #ExceptionHandler annotated method but how it is propagating to the DAO with the null or incorrect values.

This programming model also creates an abstraction over the file storage implementation allowing you to choose any type of storage that Spring Content supports (currently, this is Filesystem, S3, JPA BLOBs, Mongo's Gridfs and Google Storage). Your application code will stay the same regardless.

Mongodb and Java: finding documents with a specified value contained in an array field

At the beginning I would like to highlight that however similar question was already asked, provided solution didn't solve my problem.
I'm new to Mongodb, hence I'm having the problem with it.
What I want to do is writing a method for retrieving all shops from the collection called 'shopRepository' which "categories" field (that is an array of Strings) contains a category given as a method parameter.
The document structure for the shopRepository collection is structured as follows:

Use the $in operator instead of $all like this:
BasicDBObject query = new BasicDBObject("categories", new BasicDBObject("$in", Arrays.asList(category)));
$all means categories must contain all values specified in the query for the document to match.
