Java Spring - No BasicDataSource class found - java

Im trying to add bean my Eclipse is not finding class BasicDataSource and if I add it manually error stands:
Class 'org.apache.commons.dbcp.BasicDataSource' not found
Here is my beans-cp.xml with code that has that error:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<beans xmlns="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:context="http://www.springframework.org/schema/context"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans/spring-beans.xsd
http://www.springframework.org/schema/context http://www.springframework.org/schema/context/spring-context-4.3.xsd">
<bean id="ds" class="org.apache.commons.dbcp.BasicDataSource">
<property name="username" value="${jdbc.username}"></property>
<property name="password" value="${jdbc.password}"></property>
<property name="driverClassName" value="${jdbc.driverClassName}">
</property>
<property name="url" value="${jdbc.url}"></property>
</bean>
</beans>
Here are screenshots:
I added dependencies to pom.xml file and updated and refreshed project several times but error stands. Here is my pom.xml file:
<project xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0 http://maven.apache.org/xsd/maven-4.0.0.xsd">

</project>
Ive also cleaned and installed maven project several times but that didn't solved problem.
If anyone has any idea please let me know.
Thanks.

How to disable ErrorPageFilter on SpringBoot 2

I need to know how to diable ErrorPageFilter.
I am getting this error :
15:45:16.380 [http-nio-8080-exec-3] ERROR o.s.b.w.s.support.ErrorPageFilter - Cannot forward to error page for request [/] as the response has already been committed. As a result, the response may have the wrong status code. If your application is running on WebSphere Application Server you may be able to resolve this problem by setting com.ibm.ws.webcontainer.invokeFlushAfterService to false
I deploying the application on Tomcat local with eclipse.

Thank you in advance
I am not sure you need to deactivate ErrorPageFilter cause it is really useful.
Do you have changed your dependency to use external tomcat? Is there a reason not to use the embedded tomcat?
You should modify your POM to use an external tomcat.
First, you need to package a WAR application instead of a JAR.
<packaging>war</packaging>
You have to modify the final WAR file name to avoid including version numbers:
<build>
<finalName>${artifactId}</finalName>
...
</build>
Then, we're going to add the Tomcat dependency:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-starter-tomcat</artifactId>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
You can check this article https://www.baeldung.com/spring-boot-war-tomcat-deploy it explain better how it works.
Aller bonne chance et évite le français la prochaine fois :)
Thomas, thank for help.
I resolved my problem, I use dispatcherServlet with spring-mvc and missing "/" on the path to access at jsp.
so generate a ErrorPageFilter exception.
Add a "/" after "/WEB-INF/jsp" in ViewResolver on dispatcher-servlet.xml resolve execption.
My dispatcher-servlet :

Spring Injection fails with a couple of Maven projects

I have two projects built with Maven. The first project deals with persistence aspects, while the second deals with business aspects and this last one has to use the first project for persist data. I'm using Spring data jpa for the first project and Spring mvc 4 for the second.
I need to configure the second project, in the way that, the second project can use the first project using the dependency injection through Spring annotations. So I mean, in the first project I have the Spring JpaRepository interfaces in a jar, and I want to use them in the second project using #Autowired annotation. I'm using the next configuration:
First Project pom:
<project xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0 http://maven.apache.org/xsd/maven-4.0.0.xsd">

<groupId>group.id</groupId>
<artifactId>artifact_id</artifactId>
<scope>compile</scope>
<version>0.0.1-SNAPSHOT</version>
</dependency>
</dependencies>
</project>
As you can see, the first project compiles as a jar while the second project compiles as a war. In the pom of the second project, you can see that I have a dependency over first project:
<!-- second project dependency -->
<dependency>
<groupId>group.id</groupId>
<artifactId>artifact_id</artifactId>
<scope>compile</scope>
<version>0.0.1-SNAPSHOT</version>
</dependency>
The problem comes when I try to inject any #Services or #Component in the second project from the first project, because I get a dependency injection error:
GRAVE: StandardWrapper.Throwable
org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'a': Injection of autowired dependencies failed...: No qualifying bean of type b found for dependency: expected at least 1 bean which qualifies as autowire candidate for this dependency...
This error is present in bean that tries to inject an #Services from the first project.
I think the error is in the Maven projects dependency, but already I've tried with many things that I found with searching the web, but nothing works.
My first spring project configuration:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

My second spring project configuration:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<beans xmlns="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xmlns:mvc="http://www.springframework.org/schema/mvc" xmlns:context="http://www.springframework.org/schema/context"

<property name="prefix" value="/WEB-INF/"/>
<property name="suffix" value=".jsp"/>
</bean>
</beans>
There might be problem related to groupId you have set for your first project.
According to documentation :- maven naming convention, groupId should be named as the package structure.

Please provide a little help on this.I have wasted whole day to find a solution for this. Thanks in Advance
Sorry, I can't fit it in a comment, but why do you have a dependency on:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.hibernate</groupId>
<artifactId>hibernate</artifactId>
<version>3.5.4-Final</version>
<type>pom</type>
</dependency>
What happens when you remove it?
seems its a jar issue.Remove
<dependency>
<groupId>org.hibernate</groupId>
<artifactId>hibernate</artifactId>
<version>3.5.4-Final</version>
<type>pom</type>
</dependency>
And also where you have define service package name in context:component-scan
I have removed the dependency but its still not working. I have added service package under a different xml name name service-context.xml like this
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<beans xmlns="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans"

Connection cannot be null when 'hibernate.dialect' not set hibernate4 tomcat7

I've followed some tutorial in order to set up a web application using spring, hibernate to run on tomcat.
When trying to run my application I get the error "Connection cannot be null when 'hibernate.dialect' not set"

Any advice as to why I'm getting this error would be greatly appreciated.

Piece of code from the tutorial you mentioned:
<bean id="sessionFactory"
class="org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.LocalSessionFactoryBean">
<property name="dataSource" ref="dataSource" />
<property name="configLocation">
<value>classpath:hibernate.cfg.xml</value>
</property>
<property name="configurationClass">
<value>org.hibernate.cfg.AnnotationConfiguration</value>
</property>
<property name="hibernateProperties">
<props>
<prop key="hibernate.dialect">${jdbc.dialect}</prop>
<prop key="hibernate.show_sql">true</prop>
</props>
</property>
</bean>
This is where hibernate.cfg.xml was specified and, also, where the dialect was put. If you have <property name="dataSource" ref="dataSource" /> for the session factory, you don't need it in the hibernate.cfg.xml.
I would suggest looking again at that's tutorial source code and adjust your code accordingly.
Add this and check
<property name="dialect">org.hibernate.dialect.MySQLDialect</property>

Spring + Maven: The matching wildcard is strict, but no declaration can be found for element 'jdbc:embedded-database'

i am currently trying to build a little webapp that uses Spring, Hibernate and Maven (running on a tomcat). It works quite fine, except that i cannot get my embedded-database to work. I hope you can help me.
I am always facing this error, when i am deploying the webapp to the Tomcat:
The matching wildcard is strict, but no declaration can be found for element 'jdbc:embedded-database'
During my investigations i learned that this message is pointing towards missing libraries. Therefore i added my pom.xml, where i added the artifact spring-jdbc.
Can you help me finding the error? Thanks a lot!
This is my spring-configuration-file, which causes the error during initialization of the webapp:

This line in your Spring context file:
xmlns:jdbc="http://www.springframework.org/schema/jdbc/spring-jdbc-3.1.xsd"
should be changed to :
xmlns:jdbc="http://www.springframework.org/schema/jdbc"
Not sure what IDE you're using but with some (IntelliJ for example) this would be flagged as an error and save a lot of headache!
For me it was to add xmlns:jdbc and xsi:schemaLocation
<beans ....
xmlns:jdbc="http://www.springframework.org/schema/jdbc"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans
http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans/spring-beans-3.0.xsd
