Tomcat server not working anymore after a stop and restart - java

I've got an error related to tomcat server. I shut down my server (took a while) and then when a start the server back, an error appears :

I know that the error is not related to the code, because nothing change.
I try
to stop and restart many times,
to change the version of the WAR I was using.
to delete the logs and the folder work/catalina
I do not know what else I should try, so I hope some of you has I idea about that. I really think the issue is coming from tomcat but I'm not sure.
Thank for your help
Sébastien
Edit: I solved my issue it was a stupid mistake. I did a backup of my WAR file without changing the extension... Therefore tomcat was launching 2 identicals servers.
Thanks guys for your help

it seems you have two Spring Boot apps in the same JVM so you need to segregate the MBean namespace.
the first log error tell you that.
org.springframework.jmx.export.UnableToRegisterMBeanException: Unable
to register MBean [com.amadeus.security.CCDVAccess#2a9cce4a] with key
'CCDVAccess'; nested exception is
javax.management.InstanceAlreadyExistsException:

we use the following technologies:
jhipster 5.8.2. with embedded tomcat
spring boot 2.0.8.
angular 7.3.1.
i can't exactly tell what causes the exception mentioned above to be thrown and furthermore we do not see any impact on the functionality of the program itself but the exception causes our logfile to get spammed with these exceptions.
additionally, the exception is only logged when we deploy the app to our ubuntu server but the exception does not get logged when i run/debug the app locally in my eclipse IDE on my windows pc.
furthermore, locally on my windows pc i run the app with oracle jdk 8 and on the ubuntu server we run the app with openjdk 11. could this make a difference?
additional note:
we switched from spring-boot-starter-undertow to spring-boot-starter-tomcat recently and since then the exception is thrown permanently (it was never thrown using spring-boot-starter-undertow)
any help how to get rid of this exception would be greatly appreciated!
UPDATE 17.12.2021:
i forgot to mention that we are heavily relying on websockets for our angular clients to receive updates from the spring boot server in realtime
after observing the problem for a while we noticed that often (nearly always) before the exception is thrown the following warnings are logged:
2021-12-17 10:31:25.352 WARN 18686 --- [0.1-8080-exec-5] o.z.problem.spring.common.AdviceTrait : Forbidden: Invalid CSRF Token 'null' was found on the request parameter '_csrf' or header 'X-XSRF-TOKEN'.

these warnings also occured when we used undertow but the IllegalStateExceptions did not get thrown.
additionally, after the first exception mentioned above is thrown it's always followed by the following exception, which i assume is a consequence of the first exception (embedded tomcat seems to try to redirect to a tomcat error page due to the first thrown exception as seen in cause)

is it possible, that the warnings mentioned above cause these IllegalStateExceptions to be thrown but only with embedded tomcat but not with embedded undertow? is there anything configured for embedded undertow to not throw these exceptions?
if these warnings were the reason for these exceptions, how could we get rid of these warnings and hence the exceptions?

How do I fix SEVERE: Allocate exception for servlet after Project clean?

I am working on a dynamic web project using JSP and multiple servlets with tomcat Apache and Eclipse.
I was having multiple problems with Eclipse today and I ran a clean on the project to try to fix some of the issues that I was having and ever since, I'm getting the following error every time a servlet is called.

This project was working completely fine on localhost before the clean and I have all of the servlets defined in my web.xml file. CATALINA has an environmental variable and I already have the Jar files in my project.
I'm not sure why these errors are occurring and would appreciate some direction on how to attempt to fix this.

Tomcat can't find Log4j library

I'm trying to deploy a .war using Tomcat 8.5.56 (I have to use this version for company policy), it logs with Log4j and it is all setted at WEB-INF/web.xml as you can see here:
...
<env-entry>
<env-entry-name>LogClassName</env-entry-name>
<env-entry-value>com.lutris.logging.Log4jLogger</env-entry-value>
<env-entry-type>java.lang.String</env-entry-type>
</env-entry>
<env-entry>
<env-entry-name>Log4j</env-entry-name>
<env-entry-value>../conf/log4j.xml</env-entry-value>
<env-entry-type>java.lang.String</env-entry-type>
</env-entry>
...
When I search the application url, I got a 500 Server error with the next message:
javax.servlet.ServletException: Initialization of logger failed
caused by class com.lutris.util.ConfigException: Key "LogFile" not found in configuration.

org.apache.tomcat.util.threads.TaskThread$WrappingRunnable.run(TaskThread.java:61)
java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:748)
After a long search I found that this problem comes up because it cant't find the LogClassName class and try to use the default logger, but all the .jars files are at the lib path in tomcat_folder/lib. At first I thought it would be solved if I put that .jars at the app lib folder (tomcat_folder/webapps/application/WEB-INF/lib) but the problem is still there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Exceptions in projects after Tomcat server upgrade

We are trying to upgrade our Tomcat version from 7.0.73 to a newer version. On ANY higher version everything runs fine except our "DBPrism Servlet Engine". It deploys without any issues, but when running the test it throws the following exception in the C-Prompt:

I Have looked at multiple posts from different sites to no avail,
any help would be greatly appreciated
Current setup: Windows 10 with latest JDK - 1.8_144
The solution proposed here worked for me: java.lang.SecurityException: org.xml.sax.SAXNotRecognizedException: Feature: http://apache.org/xml/features/allow-java-encodings
Shutdown the Tomcat server.
Using a text editor open the catalina.properties file. It is usually located in /install-path-to-tomcat/conf/. Make a copy of this file before you continue further.
At the very top of the file add the following properties:
javax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilderFactory = com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp.DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl
javax.xml.transform.TransformerFactory = com.sun.org.apache.xalan.internal.xsltc.trax.TransformerFactoryImpl
javax.xml.parsers.SAXParserFactory = com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp.SAXParserFactoryImpl
javax.xml.datatype.DatatypeFactory = com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp.datatype.DatatypeFactoryImpl
Unfortunately, I can't make easily config changes to Tomcat, I am still looking on how to fix this from the web application that I 'm trying to deploy.

Using JNI so files on a dynamic web project(Apache Tomcat Server)

I am making a dynamic web project, which requires to use an external jar file. That jar uses several JNI so files. Now I have the jar and all the required so files. I have added the jar to the java build path, but I am not sure how to introduce the so files to the tomcat server.
I tried adding path to the so file as "LD_LIBRARY_PATH":
(Properties->Run/Debug Settings->edit->Environment->Select) and also
adding the path to "java.library.path"(Run
As->RunConfigurations->Tomcat v8 Server->Arguments->VM arguments)
flag.
Still it is not working, I am getting below error, whenever the my code is trying to access functions/classes from the above mentioned jar:

I have tried the same code with a simple Java Application, and it works fine by setting the LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable.
Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.
Your error is a ClassNotFoundException, which would suggest that the JAR isn't properly included. If there was a problem with the native library, you'd get a UnsatisfiedLinkError instead. To make the JAR available to Tomcat, you'd need to add it to the classpath (-classpath=/path/to/your.jar) or include it in your WAR. The latter depends on your build system, but if you use Maven it's rather easy using the maven-shade-plugin (this only works for the JAR though, the native code you'll have to keep on distributing separately). Hope that helps!
