Maven Install error after deleteing .m2 folder - java

I try to run maven install on my project with some dependencies:

the first time run the project mvn install it's run just fine (BUILD SUCCESS) but the second time ("after I make some changes in the code(pom.xml)") I try to run mvn install and maven throw "error in opening zip file".

after i referred some site i deleted the .m2 folder but repeatedly im getting the same error.
what can be the problem if any one help me to resolve this error

Have you tried to rebuild the project with maven ? ( maven => update => force .. )


You make sure .m2 on path D:\Maven\Repository\org in settings.xml file.
Because error reading D:\Maven\Repository\org\springframework\org.springframework.core\2.5.6.A\org.springframework.core-2.5.6.A.jar;,
The path to the local repository maven will use to store artifacts.
Default: ${user.home}/.m2/repository. If you changed it you should be sure the path is correct.

Two issues:
The first issue is that your pom parent should not be openapi-generator-project:

The second issue: "PKIX path building failed" is happening because the repo location https://oss.sonatype.org for openapi-generator-6.3.0-SNAPSHOT.pom does not have a certificate signed by a CA in your CACERTS.
But if you change the parent & don't reference a SHAPSHOT in your openapi & openapi maven plugin dependencies (both missing in your pom) then it will fetch from the more usual https://repo1.maven.org.

Maven adding layers.idx and other spring classes automatically to the war file

I am building a war using maven (mvn clean install), the build is successful but the problem is few spring-boot related jars are getting missed in the war file(I checked using jar tf command) and instead of that many other springboot related classes and layer.idx file is getting added. How to remove these so that they are not included in the war and all other spring related dependencies are added properly. I tried deleting the local maven repo but it didn't worked.

I don't know why spring-boot-jarmode-layertools-2.5.2.jar is getting added and few other important jars which are part of the project are missing. These jars are missing -

First you don't need to execute install because you don't need the artifact in your local repository. You should execute package.
Second you have some plugins that are not needed. (Why did you change the pom.xml that Spring Boot Initializer generated?)
Remove

It looks like you want to use JPA so add the spring-boot-starter-data-jpa dependency.

mvn clean install intellij - compile error - can not find symbol

From Intellij Idea Using Build menu , projects compiles succesfully,
but when we compiling using "mvn clean install" command it fails. What can be reason for this?

source code project imported and configured POM.xml file as below there is no error in POM.xml file from command source project path with mvn clean install entered command then below error I can see :

I have created manually to class Path header.txt and header-definitions.xml class path mentioned in POM.xml file properties.

Please note that the Postman Client works fine. What is the Maven command to run the SpringRestClient Class? The SpringSecurityOAuth2Example.war is generated from mvn package.

Consider your pom.xml is inside SpringSecurityOAuth2Example folder so from that folder you can run below command. Please make sure your war file is deployed in tomcat and server is running as SpringRestClient will look for service at http://localhost:8080/SpringSecurityOAuth2Example. Please restart you tomcat before running this command otherwise it might throw error.
mvn -Dexec.mainClass=com.websystique.springmvc.SpringRestClient -Dexec.classpathScope=test test-compile exec:java
