Automatically adding folders to the Deployable zip when build using Maven - java

I have a pom.xml which is automatically adding src/main/resources folder.
Q1.But i have not mentioned it anywhere in my pom.xml?
Q2.I needed to add an Extra Resource Folder(Ex:src/main/cxf) folder as an additional resources folder.But not sure how to add it?

src/main/resources is a default resource directory as per Maven conventions. So anything in src/main/resources will end up in the resultant jar file - The maven resources plugin will copy/filter these to target/classes directory which gets packaged later on.
If you want to add additional resource directories, then have a look at the Maven documentation

The build helper plugin's add-resource mojo can also add extra resource directories, but in this case it should be easier to declare an extra resource directory in the build section as mentioned in the Maven resource plugin's documentation.

File not getting loaded from target\test-classes\ even though it is available there

I'm trying to load a file for my test case inside the actual class. It is able to find the path as 'target\test-classes\abc.txt' but when I try to load it is failing. The same thing is working for my colleagues. Is this any issue of my eclipse. Below is the code

iReport compile error (java.lang.String cannot be resolved) in maven NetBeans project

Maybe somebody can help me to solve this issue.
I am trying to integrate iReport in my NetBeans project and can't solve the following issue.
When I create new report from "MyProject ---> New ---> Empty report" it won't compile and show me Preview from report Designer Tab it gives me the following error:

I also downgraded JRE from 8 to JRE 7.
Added whole bunch of files in Libraries for iReport.
From Report query it gives me same error. It connects to database but can't read from it.
Any ideas what am I missing in my project?

Maven 3.5.0 is throwing ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException, but builds with Maven 3.3.9

My team has a multi-module Maven project that builds fine using Maven 3.3.9, but fails when using Maven 3.5.0. In both cases (i.e. maven versions), the build is using java 8_131. The failures occur on: MacOS Sierra 10.12.6 and CENTOS 7. A separate non-multi-module project builds fine under both versions of Maven.
I've updated the parent POM with the flatten-maven-plugin per the Maven CI Friendly Versions doc. I've checked the other issues on here and elsewhere, but haven't found an answer. There is another unanswered question: that may have its roots in the same issue.
Any help determining the problem would be much appreciated.

Turns out that there was a resolved issue with Maven 3.5.0 where under prior versions of maven, pom content was duplicated:
<project>...</project><project>...</project>
in some downloaded pom.xml files, but this did not cause a problem in the previous versions (surprisingly). Those corrupted pom.xml files cause this issue after Maven is upgraded to 3.5.0.
If you run into this problem, simply remove the files under your .m2/repository and allow Maven to re-download the corrupted pom files.
The Maven bug [MNG-6216 | https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MNG-6216] originally had the first two words of the exception switched (i.e. IndexArrayOutOfBounds) so it never came up in any of my searches. I asked that they be reversed to match the actual exception and they complied.
