Maven adding layers.idx and other spring classes automatically to the war file

I am building a war using maven (mvn clean install), the build is successful but the problem is few spring-boot related jars are getting missed in the war file(I checked using jar tf command) and instead of that many other springboot related classes and layer.idx file is getting added. How to remove these so that they are not included in the war and all other spring related dependencies are added properly. I tried deleting the local maven repo but it didn't worked.

I don't know why spring-boot-jarmode-layertools-2.5.2.jar is getting added and few other important jars which are part of the project are missing. These jars are missing -

First you don't need to execute install because you don't need the artifact in your local repository. You should execute package.
Second you have some plugins that are not needed. (Why did you change the pom.xml that Spring Boot Initializer generated?)
Remove

It looks like you want to use JPA so add the spring-boot-starter-data-jpa dependency.

Maven missing artifacts but files are in place - Eclipse

I am getting two errors in eclipse(2020-03) in my maven project as,

Also, do Project -> Clean to check whether the error still persists or not ? If yes, then Right Click on project -> Maven -> Update Project -> Select update of snapshot and also enable Project -> Build automatically.

I noticed your POM.xml has wrong version of javax.servlet.jsp. Try replacing it with the following which is the latest version.

If the issue doesn't get resolved after the changes have taken place, follow the steps mentioned below and see if it helps.
Right click your Spring MVC project, choose Run As -> Maven install. Observe the output console to see the installation progress. After the installation is finished, you can continue to the next step
Right click your Spring MVC project, choose Maven -> Update Project.
Choose your project and click OK. Wait until update process is finished.
The error still yet, then do Project->Clean and then be sure you have selected our project directory and then do the follow Project->Build.

How to Implement Microsoft Graph API using Java and Maven

I want to Implement Microsoft Graph API for sending an email.
For that, I have referred the code from https://github.com/microsoftgraph/console-java-connect-sample.
But, The code present here is in Gradle format. I need it in Maven format.
What I Want to do is :
Get The access token from GraphAPI
Using This Access token Call the Send Mail API of GraphAPI
I have perfrom above two functionality using postman.
same I want to implement using Java & Maven
Please let me know if any sample available for this functionality using Maven

Maven and Gradle are just build tools. You can use that sample, just need to create a pom.xml file with dependencies used in build.gradle file. I have done that for you.

Download that sample and delete all the files except src folder, put the pom.xml together with src folder. A maven project has done.

Please note that the Postman Client works fine. What is the Maven command to run the SpringRestClient Class? The SpringSecurityOAuth2Example.war is generated from mvn package.

Consider your pom.xml is inside SpringSecurityOAuth2Example folder so from that folder you can run below command. Please make sure your war file is deployed in tomcat and server is running as SpringRestClient will look for service at http://localhost:8080/SpringSecurityOAuth2Example. Please restart you tomcat before running this command otherwise it might throw error.

STS spring bean configuration file doesn't have spring xsd namespace

I've created a maven project in STS based on a video training tutorial and I've gone through all the steps exactly .
According to the tutorial , after adding a spring bean configuration file , I expect in the namespace tab , be able to choose some namespace like mvc and context , But I don't know why there is not . Just Bean , C , P and Util namespaces.
I've done some googling and others mentioned maybe it's because you don't have spring jars in your project , But as you can see It's a maven project and it's downloaded correctly .

You need import spring library. Each library that compose Spring add a new xsd schema.

The before xml code not import all Spring libraries into your project. You need add one by one the spring libraries that you need. After that you will see all the schemas you can use with Spring.

Try closing the project and opening it again in STS. Right click on the project and select Maven -> update project. This solved the issue for me.

In pom.xml you need to add spring-bean, spring context, spring context support dependencies as compatible to your spring version.
