I am trying to build a multi module Maven application, each of those modules I want to be JavaFx modules.
However I always get the following error when I try to run the application:
"Failed to execute goal org.codehaus.mojo:exec-maven-plugin:1.6.0:java (default-cli) on project parent: The parameters 'mainClass' for goal org.codehaus.mojo:exec-maven-plugin:1.6.0:java are missing or invalid"

In my Quarkus app I have 2 modules, module-api and module-impl. Unit tests for both modules are in module-impl. When I run mvn verify the report only contains coverage for code in the module-impl. Code in module-api is at 0% even though I have unit tests for it.
However, if I move api tests from module-impl to module-api, then I will get correct coverage of the module-api code. Why isnt it working when I have all the tests in a single module?
I have followed the official guide: https://quarkus.io/guides/tests-with-coverage#coverage-for-tests-not-using-quarkustest

You need to add an empty beans.xml in /src/main/resources/META-INF, so that Quarkus can scan external jars.
I have a Maven project with a JavaFX submodule and it just started giving me an error, I can't find any changes I made to the submodule that might've caused this other than starting a git repository. I think something is wrong with the <build> in the submodule pom, but nothing I tried worked. The submodule pom is mostly generated by IntelliJ.
Parent pom:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<project xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"

</build>
When I run the User with ```clean javafx:run```
I get this Error:
[ERROR] Failed to execute goal on project User: Could not resolve dependencies for project org.example:User:pom:1.0.1: Failure to find org.example:ChoreSystem:jar:1.0.1 in https://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2 was cached in the local repository, resolution will not be reattempted until the update interval of central has elapsed or updates are forced
Not clear why submodule User should declare a dependency on the parent pom ChoreSystem which looks like it is there just to run a sequence of child modules. Maybe you meant to declare a dependency on ChoreServer.
How can I make a JAR file if project packaging type is "POM". The reason is that I have couple of sub-modules which added in this project. I'm using shaded plug-ins to make a JAR file but looks its not getting created in .m2 directory, but it creates in target folder which doesn't have any Classes, resources etc

<modules>
<module>database</module>
<module>services</module>
</modules>
</project>
I would see following solutions.
Either you add to the other project the modules it depend on.
<dependency>
<groupId>HealthProject</groupId>
<artifactId>database</artifactId>
<version>0.0.1-SNAPSHOT</version>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>HealthProject</groupId>
<artifactId>services</artifactId>
<version>0.0.1-SNAPSHOT</version>
</dependency>
or you create in HealthProject a new module which will create a Jar of HealthProject.
<parent>
<groupId>HealthProject</groupId>
<artifactId>HealthProject</artifactId>
<version>0.0.1-SNAPSHOT</version>
</parent>
<artifactId>healthproject-all</artifactId>
<packaging>jar</packaging>
<dependencies>
<dependency>
<groupId>HealthProject</groupId>
<artifactId>database</artifactId>
<version>0.0.1-SNAPSHOT</version>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>HealthProject</groupId>
<artifactId>services</artifactId>
<version>0.0.1-SNAPSHOT</version>
</dependency>
</dependencies>
and then in the other project you add this as dependency.
<dependencies>
<dependency>
<groupId>HealthProject</groupId>
<artifactId>healthproject-all</artifactId>
<version>0.0.1-SNAPSHOT</version>
<type>pom</type>
</dependency>
</dependencies>

In the current .pom you are building an ear and you are giving the same ear as a warModule.
You should give a .war artefact for webmodule in the ear-plugin
My Maven EAR project packs my EAR with two copies of each of my libraries. One copy is always appended with the version (In my case 1.0-SNAPSHOT). Is there something screwed up in my POMs?
I keep getting these type of errors when i try and deploy to server:
Servlet [blah...] and Servlet [blah..] have the same url pattern: [/RegistrationService_V10].
My EAR project POM looks like this :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<project xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0 http://maven.apache.org/maven-v4_0_0.xsd">

In the maven-ear-plugin, you have to specify your ejbmodule and webmodule
<plugin>
<artifactId>maven-ear-plugin</artifactId>
<version>2.8</version>
<configuration>
<modules>
<ejbModule>
<groupId>com.huwag</groupId>
<artifactId>AlmexOffice-ejb</artifactId>

<groupId>com.huwag</groupId>
<artifactId>AlmexOffice-web</artifactId>
<contextRoot>/custom-context-root</contextRoot>
</webModule>
</modules>
</configuration>
</plugin>
Could you give us the feedback if it works better?
