WebService Spring doesn't initialize bean for service and consumer

WebService Spring doesn't initialize bean for service and consumer - java

I am creating a webService Spring with SOAP and i have a trouble. At beginning i had done a webapp with Spring MVC with service and consumer (spring Data and spring JDBC) where the interface is exposed and it's work. So i suppose the trouble doesn't come from these modules.
But now, i want to reuse my service and consumer for my webService and it doesn't work. I have done a new archetype with maven, add many dependency and if i don't use my service or consumer (webService alone), i can use SOAPUI and return a string.
However, once i try to connect my service and my consumer, my TomCat log tell me dependency is unsatisfied for my injection... I don't understand why...
PS: i have done some copy paste from my webapp MVC to my webService and i am a beginner in java.

In your application-context.xml file, Add this property
<jpa:repositories base-package="p3.repository"/>.
Due to this missing config, Spring container is not able to find the bean.

I have tried some solutions proposed on this site without success. It generates other errors that I am unable to resolve.
E.g:The solution proposed here for a similar issue Spring Cannot find class [org.hibernate.ejb.HibernatePersistence] gives in the counterpart an issue like
nested exception is java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/dom4j/io/STAXEventReader.
When I try to solve this last by applying the solution proposed here Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.dom4j.io.STAXEventReader, I get the same error.
So I am stucked.

Your Hibernate version is 5.1, so you need to change you provider class. In fact, best change the persistence header to version 2.1 as well.

As for the org/dom4j/io/STAXEventReader class, it fails to load, because it depends on many javax.xml.stream.* classes, but they're missing, because it's internal xml-apis dependency is too old. This is solved by explicitly stating this dependency version in the pom.xml.

You're missing a jar with the class NoUniqueBeanDefinitionException. You need to include this dependency:

Maven - Spring RequestMapping 404 Error

I've seen a lot of this questions in SO and i've tried their solutions but they haven't worked for me so I'll post this one. Basically I'm just setting up a project and trying to get my RequestMapping to work, just to return a string. So this is my code

Ok Basically that's my code.. Still i browse to http://localhost:4848/mavenDWP/api/show/hello and i just get a 404 error. Any ideas?

Add #ResponseBody annotation. Every time when you return something that is not a build in class such as ModelAndView you need to use this annotation. See docs.
As an advice, try to use a Map even if you have a little amount of data to send to client. A map will be converted to JSON and can be easily accesed.

Getting a 406 for oxm jaxb2 spring service. Marshalling requestbody works, returning responsebody does not

I've boiled this down to the simplest example I can. I'm using Poster and adding the header "Content-Type" as "application/xml". Without that I get the 415 error and don't even get into the controller, with it I get into the controller and die before I bind my response, so the system.err.println executes and then it bails. With the content-type set I get a 406 error (but still get into my controller).
