Blank screen integrating JavaFX Scene in Swing using Netbeans - java

I am not able to understand where my code is wrong. I tried to integrate several example, but the result is that nothing is displayed. In pure JavaFX environment, everything is correct; but in mixed mode, no. The goal is to use the NetBeans designer and integrate existing code with the new one without losing NetBeans facility.

Don't add() the fxPanel to the JScrollPane. Instead, invoke setViewportView():
jScrollPane1.setViewportView(fxPanel);

Why this actionEvent on a Java Swing menu item does not work?

I have created a basic JFrame using NetBeans form designer. I have reduced it to just a couple of menu items.
I intend to do something when user clicks on "Open", my understanding is that I have to add an "actionPerformed" through a listener, which can be done using NetBeans Designer.

How to restore InputVerifier mechanism while using cancel button?

I have an InputVerifier on a JFormattedTextField. It is called when field looses focus perfectly. I added a cancel button (JButton), but do not want to call then InputVerifier when this button is clicked.
MyVerifier is called when the focus is lost on the field without any problem. However, after I click the clearButton the InputVerifier won´t be called again, as if the button where clicked even if it´s not.

Why isn't the InputVerifier been invoked if the field looses focus without the button being clicked?
Well. I found the solution.
clear.setFocusable(false);
That solves the problem.

I also don't want to use a JTextField because I want to learn how to use JFormattedTextField.
I want to set the formatted text fields to numbers only.
Using the Design view, right click over the formatted text field and choose Properties option. Then look for formatterFactory property:
If you try to edit this property, the following dialog will show up. Choose integer default option under number category:
That's it, your text field will be initialized using NumberFormat.getIntegerInstance(). If you inspect the generated source code you'll see something like this:

As #mKorbel pointed out, using Thread.sleep() is a bad idea and will block the Event Dispatch Thread (EDT) which is a single and special thread where Swing components creation / update should be performed and event handling is processed. If this thread is blocked then your GUI won't be able to repaint itself and will "freeze". In this case you should consider use a Swing Timer instead. See Concurrency in Swing for further details.

Making a JFrame button create a Alert Dialog. Java - Netbeans

I use NetBeans IDE, as you may know there is a JFrame creator plugin (Its pre-installed) I use it to make JFrames (Because I'm too lazy to do it my self =/). in the event of creating a button within that JFrame it will generate a area for the event code. Sounds like you might want a JOptionPane message dialog...
Try this:
JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(null, "<your message here...>", "Alert", JOptionPane.ERROR_MESSAGE);
So for your case, this is what your action performed method will look like:

Note there is no "variable" to store the JOptionPane object, it's a static method called on the JOptionPane class. Each time you want an alert/confirm/input/etc. dialog, you generate one on the fly using the static members of the JOptionPane class.

get the text from jTextField using jTextField1KeyTyped event

I have a jTextField, and when I want to type something in it, I want it to be displayed.
I used the jTextField1KeyTyped event.
but the problem is when I press some text the console shows me the text from the jTextField minus the last char.
for example if I typed "abcde", it will show me only "abcd".
how can I resolve this issue.

then you can to listening for string inserted, removed or replaced whole String in JTextComponent, otherwise all mentioned events aren't possible to catch by KeyListener
