There is no Error when I sync Gradle but I can't run the charts yet. It's really new for me. Android Studio, Gradle and Maven differences, etc. My app is on as Beta and some details must be improved in code and even in design assets. So, I'd lovely enjoy somebody's Android Studio experience.
Related
this error occurred when I tried to set up my firebase with this project.
after searching...I found a solution which after then both synced and build works fine and the app run on my device.
But the problem is that:
I don't understand which pair version of android.support and firebase to use.
though the app works fine it's still showing red underlined.
Thanks for the help.

Android Studio: Plugin with id 'com.android.application' not found
You are missing classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:3.1.3' in top level project dependencies.
Check Top level project build.gradle
build.gradle(Project OddJob):
// Top-level build file where you can add configuration options common to all sub-projects/modules.
buildscript {
repositories {
google()
jcenter()
}
dependencies {
classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:3.1.3'
// NOTE: Do not place your application dependencies here; they belong
// in the individual module build.gradle files
}
}
allprojects {
repositories {
google()
jcenter()
}
}
//
//task clean(type: Delete) {
// delete rootProject.buildDir
//}
Try This
Add the following code to the top of your build.gradle in your project like this:
/ Top-level build file where you can add configuration options common to all sub-
projects/modules.
buildscript {
repositories {
google()
jcenter()
}
dependencies {
classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:3.1.3'
classpath 'com.google.gms:google-services:3.2.1'
// NOTE: Do not place your application dependencies here; they belong
// in the individual module build.gradle files
}
}
allprojects {
repositories {
jcenter()
google()
}
}
task clean(type: Delete) {
delete rootProject.buildDir
}

I use firebase on my project. So at the bottom of my app/build.gradle file is
apply plugin: 'com.google.gms.google-services'.
When I want to activate Databinding with
dataBinding {enabled true}
I'm getting the error;
"Gradle sync failed: Can not change dependencies of configuration ': app: api' after it has been included in dependency resolution."
As a result, when multiple plugins are added, DataBinding gives an error. I still can not find a solution.
How to use data binding in a project using Google Services?
Android Studio 3.1.2
Gradle 4.4
The problem is in the gms version. The problem has been resolved with version 4.0.1
// classpath 'com.google.gms:google-services:3.3.1'
classpath 'com.google.gms:google-services:4.0.1'
Fix with further steps -
1 In App level bulid.gradel file.
apply plugin: 'com.android.application'
android {
compileSdkVersion 27
defaultConfig {
applicationId "test.com.apptest"
minSdkVersion 15
targetSdkVersion 27
versionCode 1
versionName "1.0"
testInstrumentationRunner "android.support.test.runner.AndroidJUnitRunner"
} buildTypes {
release {
minifyEnabled false
proguardFiles getDefaultProguardFile('proguard-android.txt'), 'proguard-rules.pro'
}
}
dataBinding {
enabled = true
}
}
dependencies {
implementation fileTree(dir: 'libs', include: ['*.jar'])
//noinspection GradleCompatible
implementation 'com.android.support:appcompat-v7:27.1.1'
implementation 'com.android.support.constraint:constraint-layout:1.1.0'

androidTestImplementation 'com.android.support.test.espresso:espresso-core:3.0.2'
// add firbase
implementation 'com.google.firebase:firebase-messaging:15.0.2'
}
2. Project level gradel file.

classpath 'com.google.gms:google-services:3.2.0'

Here are my Error Logs
I've tried invalidate and restart but that didn't work.
This happened after I updated Android Studio.
I can clean my project and rebuild it successfully, but when I run it, I get the errors.
Additionally info that might not be the cause:
I do get in an error in my styles.xml that "Theme" cannot be resolve
to a symbol, However, it never gave me errors when I rebuild the

it's a bug in gradle code calling AAPT1. Remove android.enableAapt2=false and it should be fixed.
